Chapter 6:~Still here~

When Elora woke up next day, her ladies Alana, Sofia and Emelie entered her chambers. "Good morning, Elora. How are you feeling?," Elora sat up in her bed and sighed. "How's Phalo?," she asked worriedly. Alana smiled. "He's up and well," she declared. Elora exhaled in relief. She now knew what she had to do.

Phalo sat in the dining hall, eating his breakfast when Elora entered the hall and sat down beside him. Phalo looked up at her in concern. "What is it?," he asked in concern. Elora shook her head and sighed. "It's nothing," she said. Phalo shook his head. "Elora, you know I know you better than that. What's going on?," he asked. Elora sighed and looked up at him. "I'm planning to face Amaranth. If it's my spark he want, then he's going to get it," she declared. Callon looked up at her shocked. "Elora, you can't do that! He'll kill you and Shivanna will be forever darkened!," And Elora looked at them angrily. "Then what shall I do then!?," she exclaimed, "I cannot have anymore people dying because of me! I already lost my Lady, my friend Diana all those years ago! I cannot go through that again! I cannot lose anyone else again!,"
Elora stood up and stormed out of the hall when Emersion showed and grabbed her arm. "Hey! Where are you going?," And Elora looked up at him. "To Amaranth! And you cannot stop me!," Emersion pressed her against the wall. "Have you lost your mind!?," he exclaimed quietly. "You cannot go to him!," And Elora looked up at him. "I cannot let anyone more die because of me!," she cried. Emersion sighed and pulled her into his arms and hugged her tightly. "Shh, it's alright," he whispered soothingly, "We're going to defeat him. I promise," And Elora looked up at him confused. "But how?," she asked confused. Emersion smiled weakly. "We are going to banish him once again," Elora smiled softly and Emersion kissed her forehead softly. "Never forget who you are," he whispered and left for the dining hall.

Elora walked through the empty halls of Lustillia castle. She looked at the paintings that Callon had painted during her grandfather's time as King of Lustillia. Could she really become a better ruler. Could she almost remain pure hearted despite the darkness around her? She looked down and started to sing as she walked through the empty halls and corridors.
