Adrienne stood at Elora's stone bed and she turned to Amaranth. "Let the ritual begin," she said. Amaranth smiled wickedly and went over to Elora and raised his hand to suck out her light magic when the gates opened and Emersion, Aldon and Phalo stormed into the hall. "Get away from her!," Aldon exclaimed angrily. Adrienne looked at Emersion sadly. "My son, how could you do this to me?," she asked. "I am not your son!," Emersion snapped angrily, "And I never will be!," And he sent Adrienne into the stone wall behind her. Aldon hurried over to free Elora when Amaranth walked up behind him. Aldon immediately turned around and stuck his demon sword through Amaranth's stomach and Emersion stab him through the heart from behind. Amaranth was speechless and Emersion smiled wickedly. "Back the demon prison in Eschallus where you belong," And Amaranth screamed out and disappeared in a dark cloud of smoke.
Adrienne swallowed as Emersion approached her. "Please... My son...," she begged. Emersion stuck his demon sword through her body and Adrienne yelped out in pain. "Forgive me, mother. But you've gone to far," he whispered quietly and Adrienne disappeared in a dark cloud of smoke. Emersion sighed and looked down. "Father!," Aldon exclaimed, "I cannot free her from the chains!," Emersion hurried over to Elora and gently stroked her hair. "Forgive me, my child. I failed you," he whispered softly and removed the chains with his magic. "Elora?," Phalo asked worriedly, "Elora, wake up!," And he looked up at Emersion. "What's wrong? Is she...?," Emersion shook his head and took Elora carefully into his arms and Aldon took care of his father's sword. "The darkness is getting to much for her soul. We have to hurry. She's slipping," he declared.
