"Don't! I promise you! No harm we have committed against your people will be remedied this night!," Elora exclaimed and she felt herself being hit to the ground. The men grabbed her ankles and she screamed as one of them held her down to finish her.
"NO!," Elora exclaimed as she woke up in the chaise longue, tears streaming down her cheeks. She wiped away her tears. "Mother," she sobbed, "Father," she leaned back on the pillow, crying. Her nightmares had probably woken up people, for Emersion soon entered the chambers and squatted down before her. "Hey," he gently stroked her hair. "Shh, it's alright," And he brought the little bottle with a sleeping potion to her lips. "Here, drink," he said gently. Elora shook her head. "It will help you sleep. It's the middle of the night," Emersion explained to her gently. Elora swallowed and slowly drank a little of the potion and Emersion helped her to bed. "Emersion, I'm afraid," Elora mumbled tiredly. Emersion smiled weakly at her. "Everyone's afraid sometimes. But it makes us stronger," he declared. Elora smiled weakly and fell asleep. Emersion left the chambers and closed the doors behind him.
Callon smiled proudly to himself once he hung up the portrait of Elora at the side of paintings of The Wives Of The Light Elves Dynasty. The only that was missing now was the next King of Lustillia and that was Elora's future husband.
Phalo walked over to the artist and smiled. The nobles of Lustillia cheered when their Queen entered the hall in a shimmering white long dress with trailer and short sleeves with trailer. She wore a silvery circlet elven tiara with diamonds and a pair of silver leaf earrings and silver necklace.
Elora stood before her throne and Gideon smiled softly at the young elf Queen. Phalo stood at his place at the table when a woman showed up. "Phalo, I need to speak to you," she said hurriedly. Phalo looked at her confused but fallowed the woman out of the hall. "What is it?," he asked gently. The woman swallowed. "It was not until Elora entered the hall that I realised," she began. "What?," Phalo asked worriedly. The woman swallowed. "Amaranth was seen leaving the castle earlier this morning. I don't know, but I fear," Phalo swallowed. "Elora's drink is poisoned?," The woman nodded. Phalo felt his panic rise and hurried back towards the hall. The woman smiled wickedly and turned back into her normal form that was Amaranth. "This is going to be so much fun," he said wickedly for himself.
Elora smiled and raised her glass. "For Lustillia!," she said. "For Lustillia!," the crowd joined. "NO! STOP!," Phalo interrupted and took the glass out of Elora's hand. "What's the meaning of this?," Evindal asked confused. "Amaranth sized Elora's glass with poison!," Phalo stated. "That is ridiculous! That demon has not been here," Lord North said. "Do you have any proof of these sudden accusations?," Evindal asked. Phalo swallowed, thinking of an answer. "He was seen leaving the castle after lazing it," he then answered. "By whom?," Gideon asked. Phalo swallowed. "I can't say," he stated. Tarmac sighed and shook his head. "This is ridiculous!," he declared. Elora smiled and walked over to her cousin. "I'll handle this," she declared, "Phalo, you idiot. Have you read too many books again?," Gideon shook his head and Elora grabbed her glass. "But what if it poisoned?," Aldon asked. Elora sighed and Phalo looked at everyone. "I'll drink it," he stated. "Phalo, enough! I'll drink it!," Elora protested. "No, no, no!," Phalo protested as held away the glass, "I'll drink it," Elora took a step back confused. No one noticed Amaranth watching them from afar disguised by magic as a woman. Phalo held up the glass before quickly drinking it, Elora looking at him shocked and worriedly and Alana, one of Elora's ladies stepped forward in worry. Phalo took down the glass and looked at them. "It's fine," he declared. Everyone exhaled in both anger and relief, Amaranth smiled wickedly. Suddenly, Phalo started coughing suffocating and Elora looked at him in shock and Phalo collapsed to the floor. Elora hurried over to him and knelt down at his side. Emersion hurried over to her. "We had to get him to his chambers," he explained and lifted the Light elf into his arms, "Bring the glass. We need to identify the poison," Elora nodded and grabbed the glass.
Emersion laid down the elf on the bed and Phalo groaned in his unconsciousness condition. "His fever is growing," Elora sighed. Emersion walked over to the elf. "Phalo, breathe, my friend," he spoke softly. He grabbed the glass and used his magic to identify the poison. He sighed and Elora looked up at him. "What is it?," she asked worriedly. Emersion sighed, "It's too easy. I can easily cure him. I just need to go and get some ingredients. But Amaranth must have known Phalo would find out about the poison," And Elora sighed and looked down at her father's cousin. "His plan wasn't to kill me. It was all a test," she sighed. Emersion walked over to her and handed her a potion. "Go to your chambers and go to bed. Take this before you go to sleep. It will help you with your nightmares," And Elora sighed and glanced down at Phalo. "Tell me when he has awoken," she said and Emersion smiled, "Of course, my child," And Elora left her brother's cousin's chambers.
Elora laid down in her bed. She could feel the shadow sneaking up behind her. She sat up and slowly let tears welling up in her eyes. She took out the sleeping potion and quickly drank a little and put it away on her nightstand before she soon fell asleep in her bed. Unknowingly that Amaranth had new plans for The Light Elf Queen.
