Part 26: Milaa Yun

Hospital.............

Bondita gains consciousness and slowly tries to open her eyes only to see Manorma standing there..

Bondita~"Maa?"

Manorma gives her a glass of water and smiles
Manorma~"Hospital ke mandir mai hain wo tumhrae liye prarthana karne gayin hain"
Bondita takes the glass and takes a sip and returns the glass
Manorma~"Kaisa lag rha hai ab?"
Bondita~"Thoda behtar...Baaki sab kaha hai?"
Manorma~"Baaki sab bhi wahi hai..."
Bondita smiles but their is a slight disappointment at her face
Manorma~"Tumhe pata h na ki tum pooch sakti ho bondita?"
Bondita~"Kya matlb?"
Manorma~"Mai janti hu..sab se tumhara matlb sirf Anirudh se tha!"
Bondita pretends to deny and manorma just smiles
Manorma~"Wo bahar hi khade hain..Unse tumhari ye halat dekhi nhi gayi isliye mujhe bheja tumhare paas"
Bondita looks down at her condition and recalls what happened inside the lock door
Bondita~"mai ek sawaal puchu aapse?"
Manorma leaves everything and sits beside her and nods yes
Bondita~"Ye pyar kya hota hai?"
Manorma looks shocked but smiles
Manorma~"Kash mai tumhe iss sawaal ka jawab de pati jiss tarah tum jaanna chahti ho..Magar mai apne sabdo mai bolu to pyaar wo hai jiske liye aap mar bhi sakte ho aur jeena bhi chahte ho..Jaise mai Hindustan se pyar karti hu..Uski aazaadi ke liye ladti hu..Shayad wahi hota h pyaar!"
Bondita just smiles in return looking a bit unsatisfied from her answer but she nods 
Manorma~"Abhi mai bahar jake sabko bata deti hu ki tumhe hosh agaya h..kuch zarurat ho to Anirudh bahar hi khade hain"
Bondita sneak peeks at him and found him already looking at her and he suddenly looks away

Manorma leaves and Bondita thinks
Bondita~"Ajeeb baat hai..Itne saal hogaye inki shaadi ko aur aaj jab maine pyar e baare mai poocha to manorma ji ne kranti se pyar karne ki baat ki..Na ki Pati babu ki..!"

Manorma comes outside and sees anirudh's desperacy to just have a look of her

Manorma~"Pyar ke baare mai pooch rhi thi wo!"
Anirudh~"Kya?"
Manorma~"Shayad mai usse na samjha pau par tum samjha loge "
Manorma leaves without saying further, Anirudh moves towards her door and his hands shakes to even hold the knob but he slowly opens the door without making any noise but still bondita has her eyes fixed at the door and when she sees him coming her eyes light up a little..

Anirudh hesitantly closes the door after him and gathering a lot of courage her goes near her and sits beside her, she looks awkward and hesitant..

They both look at each other, smile and then look away not knowing what to say and who to start the conversation first..And then his eyes scan her with a lot of pain and realises that she has become a lot weaker than before, her hands were shaking , she's looking pale but still the most beautiful girl in the world for him.....

Suddenly Bondita winces in pain and he grabs her hand holding her tightly and they became inch apart from each other..Bondita looks up at him and Anirudh looks down at her..
Bondita breaks the eye contact and Anirudh slowly leaves her but notices her having a scratch in hand because of the shuffle, he grabs the cotton swab and looks at her

Anirudh~"Haath dena..!"
He forwards his hand to her keep her hand on his
Bondita quietly obeys and gives him her hand and he dabs it on her wound

Bondita again winces in pain, and anirudh gets scared and holds her hand tightly 

Dil ibadat kar raha hain
Dhadkane meri sun
Tujhko main kar loo haasil
Lagi hain yahi dhun
Zindagi ki shaakh se loo
Kucch haseen pal main chun
Tujhko main kar loo haasil
Lagi hai yahi dhun

Anirudh~"Zyada Dard ho rha hai?"
Bondita looks at him caressing her with all the love not realising that she is just staring at him for so long now, while he is just looking at her wound

Bondita~"Pata nhi....Shayad pehle ho rha tha, par shayad ab nhi!"
Anirudh looks at her and sees her staring at him but she suddenly looks away

Jo bhi jitne pal jeeyu
Unhe tere sang jeeyu
Jo bhi kal ho ab mera
Usse tere sang jeeyu
Jo bhi saansein main bharoo
Unhe tere sang bahroo
Chaahe jo ho raasta
Usse tere sang chaloo
Dil ibadat kar raha hain
Dhadkane meri sun
Tujhko main kar loo haasil
Lagi hai yahi dhun

Anirudh gets it all packed with band-aids and leaves her hand, she looks distinct and unattached with everything except for him

Anirudh~"Pyaar ke baare mai jaanna chahti thi tum?"
Bondita doesn't looks at him but her eyes gets wet

Anirudh~"Bondita Pyaar wo h jo kisi ke door chale jane se ya uske humare saath na hone ke khayal se hi aankhein bhar aayein, saansein thamm jaye....Bilkul waise hi..jaise...."

Bondita turns to look at him
Bondita~"Jaise?"
Anirudh looks at her and sees her getting teary and something inside him is stopping from saying anything more...

Anirudh~"Jaise.....Mujhe hua thi...."
Bondita~"Kab?"

Anirudh and Bondita both doesn't break the eye contact and they both know the answer but .....

Vedh enters...

Anirudh gets up to leave
Anirudh~"Mujhe chalna chahiye ab..Sabko ghar leke bhi jana hai!"
Bondita still stares at him without uttering a word and sees him leaving..

Vedh gets all happy to see her conscious and hugs her happily, and Bondita sees Anirudh looking at them from outside window ,they have an eye contact but Vedh stands in front of him unknowingly and Bondita looks at him with a smile on her face

Vedh~"Bon Bon yaaar tune to dara hi diya tha..tujhe kuch hojata to?"
Bondita~"Kaise hota kuch...Tu tha na! Tu yumraj se kushti ladd ke mujhe wapas le ata!"
Vedh~"Haaaaaan wo to hai..Aise kaise mai unhe tujhe mujhse cheenne deta..!"
Bondita~"Aur jo cheen lete to?"
Vedh gives her a stern look

Vedh~"To mai mar jata!"
Bondita looks at him with all the seriousness
Vedh realises what he said and suddenly leaves from there

Bondita~"Isse kya hogaya?Kisi ke liye koi aise hi thodi na mar jata hai!"(jokingly)

And then suddenly it hits her, the realisation,the final and hard truth

Bondita~"Jab tak wo aapse pyaar na karne lage!"
Her whole body gets chill and her blood runs cold from realisation
Bondita~"Vedh..Ko mujhse...Pyaar hogaya hai!"

Vedh comes running outside, huffing 

Vedh~"Ye kya hogaya h mujhe? Maine aisa kyu bola? isse pehle bhi Bon Bon kayi baar behosh hui h par aisa kabhi nhi laga...Ye dar ye gussa ye sab naya naya sa hai...Jaise sab naya hai..Jaise hum milke bhi pehli baar mil rhe hain, jaise wo mere paas , mere saamne humesha se hokar bhi pehli baar meri aankhon ne usse dekha ho...Uski wo udti hui zulfein, uski wo muskurahat,jisse dekh kar mai duniya ka har ghum bhool jata hu..Kya hogaya h mujhe?"

He smiles looking at the rising sun at the dawn and closes his eyes....Only to find Bondita standing in the darkness smiling at him..
He opens his eyes smiling and realising

Vedh~"I am in love!"
