TURNS OUT, it wasn’t a dark abyss. It was just a pitch black, old comic book store, but the hand was still curled around my mouth, muffling my cries for help. Beside me, Clementine seemed to bite down on the person’s hand because they yelped in pain, letting us both go.
Stranger: Stop! Hey, it’s me!
We turned around, seeing a familiar face in the darkness of the abandoned store.
Clementine: Luke?
Luke: Yes! Man… bit the hell outta me. Think you drew blood.
