"Good morning"

Kelly walked up behind Stella as she was pouring a cup of coffee, kissing the back of her neck wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Well good morning"

She sighed, turning her head, her lips meeting his.

Their kiss lingered, Kelly couldn't get enough of his Fiance. He trailed kisses down her neck and back up again.

She put her cup down and turned around, wrapping her arms around Kelly.

Their lips melded together again as he gripped Stella by the hips, lifting her onto the kitchen counter.

Stella unzipped his blue Squad jacket and went to unbuckle his belt.

"GROSS!!"

Sadie's unexpected voice startled the pair.

Kelly grabbed Stella, keeping her from falling from the counter.

"Oh, uh hey, morning Sades."

Kelly stammered, zipping his jacket back up.

Stella smoothed down her hair before picking her coffee back up.

"You're up early."

"Yeah...please don't tell me this is a regular thing. I eat at that counter."

"Are you ready to go? We can stop by the coffee shop before I drop you off at school."

Kelly grabbed his bag giving Stella another kiss before walking towards the door.

"Sure, maybe some coffee will restore my innocence."

"We can have the talk when you get to the firehouse." Kelly joked

"No need, Capp already told me everything."

Sadie commented as she walked out the door that Kelly was holding open.

He looked at Stella.

"Remind me to kill him later."

She blew him a kiss as he walked out the door, closing it behind him.

Pulling up in front of the school, even two months later, it still made Kelly nervous.

He turned to his little sister

"What?"

She asked

"I just love you, and I hope you have a great day."

"How long is it going to take for you to stop being weird?"

"Fine, does this work? Love you punk, get your ass to school!"

He gave her a kiss on the cheek before shoving her to the door.

"Better, love ya Kel."

She hopped out and made her way towards the building.

He waited until she disappeared from view before pulling away.

Arriving at the firehouse he stowed his bag in his locker before going into the common room where Stella sat with Sylvie and Violet.

They looked at him and started laughing

"You told them didn't you?"

He asked his fiance, referencing what happened that morning.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't help it. I had never seen you so flustered."

She told him through stifled giggles.

"What's so funny?"

Capp walked up next to Kelly, causing the girls to start laughing all over again.

Kelly slapped him across the back of the head before making his way out to the squad table.

"I deserved that didn't I?"

He asked the group of women as they nodded, still laughing.

In school Sadie was at her locker between periods grabbing the next books she needed. The noise and force of her locker being slammed in her face caused her to jump back. A maniacal laugh came from beside her.

"What's wrong SeverDIE? Did I scare you?"

It was Scarlett O'Malley, the upperclassmen that had been bullying Sadie since she got to Chicago, but it seemed to get worse after the shooting.

"Screw off O'Malley!"

Sadie turned to walk away only to have her books knocked out of her hands.

"Scarlett cut it out!"

Collin said, seemingly coming out of nowhere.

He knelt down to help Sadie pick up her books.

"Oh hey Collin, I didn't see you there."

She sounded sweet, innocent. Collin looked at Sadie as they were picking up her things and rolled his eyes.

Collin held Sadies books as they stood up, she reached for them but he turned away.

"Let me walk you to class?"

He flashed a smile that reached up to his green eyes.

"Don't let Scarlett get to you, she's just...Scarlett."

He told Sadie as they made their way down the hallway.

"I just don't know why she has it out for me, I barely know the girl."

"Well part of it is she's had a thing for me since like middle school, so pretty much any girl I associate with becomes her target."

"So you're helping my situation by carrying my books and walking me to class...."

This made him laugh

"I'm sorry, I just...I like you Sadie."

Her heart did a little flip.

"I like you too Collin"

He turned to her as they neared her class, handing her books over.

"Would it be too forward of me to ask if I could walk you home after school?"

"Well I uh...it's actually a day that I go to the firehouse with my brother."

"I could do that too, I've never been to one."

"Sounds like a plan...I need to get in class."

They smiled at one another as he started walking away

"Oh Sadie?"

"Yeah?"

"Don't fall asleep!"
