"Why are you with her?" Daven asked him using his deep voice. He also tilted his head and then he looked at me. That look was a bit strange. It was as if I had done something to him. I don't know why he focuses his full attention on me even though he's talking to his cousin.
"We were about to go on date, but I guess next time na lang..." Frenzon's response to his cousin was too plain. Daven frowned at him and turned to me with his gaze again, giving me an intense look.
"Y-Yeah," I unconsciously answered without looking both of them. Damn, just damn it, Risha!
"I... have to go now..." Maglalakad na sana ako, pero humarang si Daven sa aking daanan. Tinignan ko siya dahil sa ginawa niyang pagharang sa akin. Nakaramdam ako bigla ng nerbyos nang makita kong mayroong akma sa kaniyang galit siya.
"Ihahatid na kita..." His deep voice made him more serious now. I bit my lower lip because of his attractiveness.
"No, I will do it instead. Ako na ang maghahatid sa kaniya," Frenzon insisted, pero sa kasamaang palad ay umangal pa rin si Daven sa kaniyang pinsan. Literal na hindi ko alam kung kanino ako sasama ngayon. Ayon sa isip ko, dapat akong umuwi mag-isa dahil tutal ay kaya ko naman. Ang problema nga lang ay kung ano ang gusto ng puso ko ngayon at ang sabi nito ay dapat kong gawin ang plano ko kay Daven.
I guess my heart is a bit spoiled. Despite of it's always been turning me on to what it wants to plan for anything.
"May pag-uusapan pa kaming dalawa kaya ako na ang maghahatid kay Risha."
"Ako ang nagyaya na mag-date kami kaya ako na ang maghahatid sa kaniya. One more thing, we are going to get married soon so please let me do it for my future wife, okay?" It was as if he's very sure about to what he've just said. Frenzon automatically fetched my hand as he've said that. I was about to remove Frenzon's hand which is clinging to me now, but it was Daven who did it right away. He mediated between the two of us to do that.
Thank god! You're here, Daven...
"Unfortunately, hindi naman tayo natuloy sa date, Frenzon. And please, tigilan niyo akong dalawa. You both leave me alone. Hindi pa ako uuwi, okay? May pupuntahan pa ako," I said without hesitation. I actually trust Daven, not Frenzon. Kailangan ko lang itong sabihin dahil alam kong hindi rin papaawat si Frenzon kung ako'y papanig kay Daven na ihatid ako. Mas mabuti na munang kunwaring wala akong pipiliin sa kanilang dalawa dahil nababatid kong walang mangyayari kung ganito lang. Mas matatagalan akong umuwi kung hindi ako hahakbang ng isang salita para sa dalawang magpinsan.
Ayaw ko rin naman din kasing ipahalata kay Daven na mabilis magbago ang isip ko dahil sa ngayon ay pumayag na akong makipag-date kay Frenzon. Good thing Daven knows what's on my mind and aside, he's willing to help me out.
"Ikakasal na kayo ni Risha, ano pa bang binabagabag mo? Sa'yong-sa'yo siya, Frenz. We're cousins and I would not even dare to steal her from you." Nilingon ko si Daven at nakita ko kung papaano siya magkunwari sa kaniyang mga sinasabi. Frenzon may not notice about this, but I do. Really, huh? You would not steal me from him? That's not our plan actually, Daven.
"Hinding-hindi ko magugustuhan si Risha. She is not my ideal type, satisfied now?" Daven added. He started to walk away after he said that without looking at me, even just an one glance. He did not give me a warned from his eyes. He only ignored me like I was just a wind passing by.
