It was a chilly night in Konohagakure. It was rather quiet for how large this place really was. Currently, we are visiting a small house in this large village. In front of this house, a baby lay inside of a cardboard box dressed in a light blue blanket. The baby had very short white, spiky hair and was indeed very small.

This boy was named Scar Kaminari. His story is actually very different than anyone else's in the village. He was born outside the village in a small settlement where only his parents and a few of their friends were. The settlement got attacked by several rogue ninja from the Hidden Sound village. A merchant was passing by the rubble when he found the baby Scar wrapped in a light blue blanket.

Feeling bad for the boy, the merchant took the boy into a cardboard box and found the first family he knew would care for the boy: himself. The merchant then arrived at his own house which wasn't even very large. Outside, it was a simple wooden house with a roof and a few windows. He placed the box in front of the door and knocked before quickly hiding. The merchants wife soon opened the door and looked down at the box.

Her eyes grew wide at the sight of the baby wrapped in the light blue blanket crying. She stepped out and looked to her and left and right for the parents but they were nowhere to be seen. In a fit of mercy for the child, she lifted him out of the box and took him into her home. The merchant smiled as he watched his wife return the child into the house. The merchant waited a little while before he entered the house himself.

The wife who seemed to be in her mid thirties and was rather round with short blond hair and brown eyes wirled around and saw her husband. She showed him the child and he acted surprised but they took him in anyway. They had the child for two years and in those two years, Scar had grown quite a bit. He had learned his alphabet backwards and forwards, was able to count to 300 easily, knew how to run and walk with ease which usually took a child at least three years to at least get right.

The merchant knew there was something off about the boy but he couldn't see what it was. The family was sadly short lived when the same group of rogue ninjas attacked the family, killing the wife and merchant. It was a cruel place they lived in. Scar woke up and figured they were still sleeping so he tried to wake them up but when he saw that they couldn't wake up or breathe or move, he started to cry cause even he knew what that meant.

It was very sad to see the family break apart and now, Scar was homeless. He decided to venture into the woods where he managed to eat apples and plants. Anything that would allow him to live. He also managed to eat mushrooms and bugs and anything that was edible. For six years, Scar learned to fend for himself and find food to eat.

He survived but everyone hated the sight of the child. He was homeless and dirty and always tried to steal the food from the kitchens. Ichiraku Ramen made exceptions on many occasions for the boy, in which the boy thanked him and ate until his stomach couldn't take anymore. He managed to live on for reasons he didn't know himself.

Scar soon learned about the Uchiha massacre at the age of eight and that only one boy survived. He knew he should feel bad for the clan, but he didn't. All he could think about was finally. Someone will finally understand my pain. However, he saw a different boy first.

A boy with the same kind of hair, only longer than his by a little. It was also yellow and the boys eyes were blue with three whiskers on each cheek. He was getting pushed by a man and being yelled out. They said words like "monster" and "freak" and they gave him the same stares that they gave me.

Scar hated that stare so much. This boys name was Naruto Uzumaki, jinchuuriki of the nine tails fox, Kurama. Scar had read about the demon fox as well. It demolished the village a few months before his birth and that's why his family had moved to the small settlement. There were now two boys who understood him.

Two boys who also hated each other which meant that a friendship would he hard to come by. Scar figured he could pull it off. The one question remained in his head. Will he be able to obtain his first friend or will he be alone for many more years to come?
