I was chilling in my room, in the egg chair on my laptop when my mother came in.
"Hi honey" she said sweetly from the door.
"Hi mom" I replied, taking my eyes off my laptop for a spit second. "What's up?"
"I was thinkin-" she started
"-AHH REALLY" I raged at my computer "I ALMOST DID IT YOU... ARGHH" I then remembered my mom was there, I looked up to her to see her frowning. "OH no not you sorry!" I hurried out so she knows I wasn't talking about her.
"What are you doing?" She asked now walking over to me.
"I got bored so I'm playing this old game I used to play all the time on the computer in school back in England. It's the snake game" I explained "the goal is to eat all the apples, if you touch the walls you die. Well if you touch anything you die basicly, and you have to fill up the entire map with your snake." I looked up at her.
"Here, I'll show you" I turned my laptop a bit so she could see it more, and she kneeled down beside me watching my computer

"DAMN IT" I yelled again. "As you can see it's very infuriating" she just looked at me and grinned. "What?" I asked
"You're adorable" she said booping my nose.
"Mooom, you keep saying that, I'm not a baby" I whined making her chuckle in reply. "Do you want to have a go?" I asked raising an eyebrow.
"Wha- at this?" She asked pointing to the game.
"Yeah" I nodded and handed her my laptop after she sat down.
I watched her play and she was really good.
"How are you doing that" I asked eager to know her secret. "Yoo- no way, Goo on mom!" I chanted, making her smirk.
"Hush honey, mommy's tryna concentrate" she hushed me, and I stayed quiet.
The game got more intense as more of the snake filled up the space. She almost beat the game until she pressed the wrong key and hit the wall.
"NOO"//"ARE YOU FRICKING KIDDING ME" we said at the same time (I said no, mom said the other one).
"See" I said, earning her attention. "Infuriating"
"Uhuh" she agreed.
"Anyway, what did you come up here for?" I asked, remembering she was trying to ask me a question.
