"No, no, no, no!" (Y/n) screamed in the middle of the night. She was asleep in the G Team base with the rest of her team. However, she suffered from something that none of them seemed to. She dealt with PTSD induced nightmares.

(Y/n) joined Hermitcraft in season 5, and that might have seen like the worst experience of her life. In that season, a server wide Civil War started. Everyone was choosing sides. (Y/n), however, tried her hardest to stay neutral. She didn't want to get involved. That meant she spent a lot of time inside her base, only coming out when she was sure no one else was nearby and she always quickly retreated inside when someone did approach. All that extreme solitude drove her to crave some sort of human contact. Maybe that's why she ventured into the shopping district.

When she got there, she felt like she couldn't enter a shop without the constant bombardment of the NHO and La Revolution. Several members from each group tried to get her to join them. Their tactics ranged from bribery to threats. Sometimes the threats came to fruition.

There were a few times (Y/n)'s base was "pranked" or she was stuck in a cage. For instance, La Revolution once took all of the food in her house, saying she could eat only if she joined them. She went on a multi day hunt for any sort of food, often stealing from shops run by Revolution and NHO members. Though, if she thought the NHO were any better, she was sorely mistaken. They once kidnapped her out of her own bed and locked her in a cage while they assaulted her with NHO propaganda. It took them three days to let her out, all those days without food and water.

Maybe that's why she was screaming. Or maybe it was because the fact that these events were reminding her too much of that past war. Anyway, she was screaming in the middle of the night. And Grian heard her. Despite everyone who was part of the G Team sleeping separate rooms, Grian bolted upright in bed, thinking Team Star had planned a night attack. His fears were quickly silenced when he heard cries coming from nearby, mixed in with screams. Though, no screams seemed to match that first one which bolted him awake.

"(Y/n)." Grian immediately bolted to her room.

He knew something was wrong when she first joined the G Team. She didn't seem as dedicated as everyone else to making their base. Sure, she helped, but she didn't seem to throw herself into it as much as everyone else. When the cease fire was ended, she was there, but she constantly stayed back by herself and was on her own. Whenever Doc or Ren got close to her, she backed away, moving further away from everyone else, too. She also steered clear of False and Stress, though Grian wasn't sure why, either. Stress and False were nice enough. Sure, False could easily kill you in PVP, but Stress was a warm beacon of sunshine and rainbows. How could someone ever be afraid of her?  He also noticed that (Y/n) stayed away from pretty much everyone on the server. She even seemed to avoid him at times. Still, she seemed more receptive toward his actions than anyone else on the team.

When the fighting started, Grian had assigned (Y/n) to defense with Jevin. When Stress and Grian failed to get across the moat, he came back and saw (Y/n) on the ground crying and shaking. And Doc was closing in. Grian ran in and parried Doc's trident attack. He drove Doc back and helped (Y/n) get into the base. Once inside, Grian called a retreat from everyone using his communicator. Team S.T.A.R also called a retreat and they gathered in the meeting room. Everyone stared at (Y/n), many glaring at her, them thinking she caused the retreat. Grian insisted that it wasn't (Y/n)'s fault that he called the retreat, saying it was because him and Stress couldn't get past their moat. Ever since then (Y/n) stayed away from everyone else. She even was dodgy around Grian. Well, except that night.

"(Y/n), (Y/n)! Are you ok? Wake up!" Grian shook her shoulders, trying to wake her up from her nightmare.

"Ah!" (Y/n) screamed as she bolted up in bed. She was breathing heavily and tears were running down her cheeks like a waterfall. Once she saw Grian, she hugged him so tight and didn't want to let go.
