BRING IN THE PAIN AND RAIN

Four weeks later, Sakura was sitting in the garden, she still hadn't spoken to anyone, the hurt she felt, the betrayal, it was more than she could bear. Sakura heard the quiet approach of Mikoto and quickly wiped away the tears from her eyes.

Mikoto: Sakura dear

Sakura turn to look at her

Mikoto: Can we talk?

Sakura: Sure

Mikoto took a sit next to Sakura and started the conversation

Mikoto: How are you feeling dear? Are you and the baby alright?

Sakura: we're fine for now- rubbing on her swollen abdomen

Mikoto: smile- that's good, listen sweet, I know you're upset with us for not telling you Sabrina was here. But it was never our intention to lie to you, we was only trying to protect you both,

Sakura: us both? As in my baby and I or Sabrina and her kid

Sakura spoke but her words came out harsh, which made Mikoto flinch

Sakura: sighh I'm sorry Mom, I think I should just go by my brother for a few weeks, I just need some time to heal, I know you meant well but, I can't be here

Mikoto: look sad- what about Sasuke? Are you really going to leave him behind? He wasn't involved in this Sakura. So why punish him as well?

Sakura: sighh, I just don't know, I mean, it hurts, I finally thought I was in a good place, but i--

Itachi: Sakura you are being unreasonable, and self-centered! Have you once considered Sasuke or the baby in all this!

Sakura look at him in both confusion and shock, Itachi has never spoken to her in that manner before

Mikoto: Itachi! That's enough!

Mikoto: no mother! She needs to hear this! - look at Sakura- you are punishing Sasuke for something he had no control over! Before you he had a life, yes, he made mistakes just like you did! Sakura: get angry- and I haven't!

Itachi: sighhh- you missing the point Sakura! You are not thinking of anyone but yourself right now! You didn't make this child by yourself! And yes he has another child, that he only knew about recent! Are you seriously saying you would rather him abandon his son for your own selfish needs?

Sakura stood up outrage- NEVER!!!

Itachi really because from my point of view that's exactly what you are doing, you distance yourself from your mate knowing fully well what would happen to him, you then cut off access to the baby, cut off intimacy, and now you want to move away? How long do you think that would last Sakura? You are now a married couple, Sakura! Not a single teenager.

Mikoto: that's enough Itachi, let's just respect Sakura's wishes, if she wishes to leave us, then so be it, I will give Kakashi a call and have him pick her up- get up and leaves-
