Loki-Winter's Gift

I was quite excited to receive this request, since many of you suggested I make a part 2 of my last Loki chapter where the reader finds out that she is pregnant, hopefully you all enjoy!

It was a beautiful chilly day in January, as you rest peacefully in your bed.

Nothing would ever break you away from your deep slumber.

Then all of a sudden, the sound of wood splitting pierces your ear drums, and you wrap your pillow around your face to block out the sound, you didn't want to get up, not in the slightest. But it happens again, following along with a familiar voice.

"Oh for fucks sake!" Okay maybe it was high time you get up.

You slowly try to lift your whole body weight and move up from the comfy cloud you wish you could just stay drowning in.

Walking out, you continue to hear muttered words coming from the room at the end of the hallway, as you head towards it with curiosity, and maybe slightly irritated.

Peering through the entryway, you see your husband, disheveled as ever, shirt Half untucked and hair in a beautiful curly raven mess.

"You can't use magic while building the crib Loki, that's what instructions are for, to get the real experience, real experience my ass." Loki grumbles not realizing you were standing behind him, arms crossed, with your eyebrows raised.

Loki then senses that you're behind him, and his eyes soften, turning around to lightly hold the bottom of your very pregnant stomach.

"Oh my beautiful angel. How was your sleep?" He asks

"It was okay, except someone thought it was a good idea to attempt building a crib at 7 in the morning..." you look at him with sad eyes,

he presses his nose to yours, when his frosty forehead caresses to yours feeling the sweet relief from the slight fever that has suddenly overcome you.

"I apologize darling, my nerves are getting the best of me it seems."

"Why the hell are you nervous? You don't have to wait 9 months to eventually have a human coming out of your private parts. I should be the one who's nervous!" You say frustrated, trying to escape his grasp around your waist, but he has a pretty firm grip on you.

"No don't leave darling, I apologize for being so selfish, I know what you've been going through is rough, but we're due any day now right?"

You nod as you look down to your large belly and you can feel your eyes well up with tears

"No, no sad tears today, only happy ones remember?" Loki says running his thumb under your eye to wipe the tears away.

"Yeah I know, it's just what if something goes wrong?"

"Nothing is going to go wrong, every checkup has gone smoothly, you're healthy, the baby is healthy, we'll be fine, don't stress angel."

"Okay..." you say muffled with your head pressed to your loving husband's chest.

"Now, I really must get back to this atrocious contraption."

"Use the instructions please, you'll feel a lot better if you do."

"We'll see about that, I'm about to kick this cribs' ass." He grumbles.
