Aleksanders pov:
It's been a week, and I still wonder why Hollie didn't want more. Wyatt just keeps laughing at me, for the situation he walked into, but I could care less. He thinks she's cute too, I just happened to make a move first.
Tapper and Wilder, don't know. I just realized. Maybe it's better if they don't. I'm sure they'd relay something to August, and from what I can tell, Hollie's already mad at him.
"Where are you going?" Wilder asks me, as I put a coat on.
"The bank." I lie.
"The bank called Holliane Eoide?" Tapper laughs.
"W-what? No,"
"Aw pretty boy is stuttering." Wyatt joins.
"You guys are assholes." I say, opening the door.
"Maybe we are. Don't do anything stupid!" Wyatt laughs.
"Jesus Christ I hate you guys." I half laugh, walking out.
______"Look at you, all dressed up." Hollie smiles, clinging to my arm, holding Wests car seat with the other.
"All dressed up? Doll this is normal outing wear." I smile at her. She gently kisses my jawline
"Okay," She smiles. "Now why are we going out to lunch? Or are you just never going to tell me?"
"I told you I'd tell you when we get there." I kiss her forehead.
"You are the worst." Hollie smiles.
"I try my best."
Hollies been seeming to get some of her personality back. I don't know what happened, but she seemed way too off. I've been trying to do everything I can to keep her spirits up.
We finish walking across the parking lot, and into the small cafe.
"Two adults." I say, the waiter immediately brings us to a table. I pull Hollie's chair out for her, as she sets Wests car seat down. I realize just how big he's gotten since the last time I really payed attention to him. He looks almost nothing like Hollie.
He must look like August.
"Now you have to tell me." Hollie leans across the table.
"Okay." I lean towards her. Our lips only inches apart. I take a quick peck, and lean back again.
"Next week, I have to go back to California. To film," I pause. Hollie looks so upset. I don't know why. "But I want you to come with me." I smile. Her eyes are glassed over. "Of course if you don't want to, you don't have to." I make sure to say.
"God I don't even know why I'm crying. There's absolutely no need for me to be this emotional." Hollie laughs, wiping away her tears.
"It's okay. Take your time." I smile at her.
"I really would love to come with you, but," She pauses, her eyes are like rivers, that are being flooded. "We need to talk Alek."
"Then let's talk."
"God I hate this." Hollie mumbles. "August and I, aren't on the best terms. His next game is in LA, which happens to be next week. I know, the chances of us running into him is, incredibly low, but not impossible. And, god I hate that this is something I even have to think about, I don't want him around me. Not right now." She practically whispers.
"Holls, you don't have to come," I grasp her hand. "I would love for you to be there, but if it's going to cause too much stress, I don't want this to be a source of that." I claim. She puts our intertwined hands on her forehead.
"Can I let you know tomorrow? I need to think, about it."
"Of course Hollie," I push a strand of hair out of her face. "Take your time."
