It was another one of those days that happened about once a week. The teams were taken out to the forest again.
"Jay, finish the assignment first." Aayan tried, though his attempts would be fruitless.

"Nah, I'm good," Jay replied in a teasing tone. He wasn't the only one. Colleen had joined him, the two leaving their unfinished assignments alone.
"What are you doing?" Kira asked, looking curiously at them.

"Climbing!" Colleen shouted, her hands wrapped around the branch of a tree.
Jay was under her, trying his best to support her. Colleen made a noise in the back of her throat and hoisted herself onto the branch.

Jay stumbled slightly as her feet left his hands, backing away. Colleen reached down and pulled him up onto the limb next to her.
Jay gasped, hanging onto the stem of the tree for dear life.

"We used to do it all the time. This place is just boring and stupid!" Colleen whined, moving to hang off the branch by her feet.
Jay looked over the branch at her, his eyes wide.

"You try something." Colleen prompted with a mischievous grin.
"This is a bad idea," Kaze sighed, "Someone might get hurt."
"Looks fun," Kira remarked, "Not for me though."

Kamlyn shrugged, standing by Kahsbi.
"I loved doing that," Kahsbi smiled, "But I don't think we should. We could get in trouble."

Colleen rolled her eyes. "Oh, quit being scaredy-cats. It's not the end of the world!"
"You're a bunch of idiots. You'll get us all in trouble, you muppets!" Kai shouted.

"Muppets?" Came Kamlyn's confused voice. Kai rolled his eyes.
"What do Americans call it? Idiots or whatever- we used muppets a lot for stupid people back in London. I only know it's like idiots for Americans because of tourists or travelers."

"That's pretty cool!" Jay exclaimed, standing and trying to balance on the branch.
"That's a bad idea," Kahsbi muttered to herself. She was right.

It had been raining all night, the wood of the tree and everything else around it moist with liquid.
The bark was slippery. Colleen was only sitting on the branch, but Jay was currently trying to stand straight upon it.

Jay's foot slipped, and he fell from the tree with a yelp of surprise. A yell of pain came from below him, and the team realized what happened.
"Hey! Jay, get off me!" Kaze yelled angrily.

Jay gasped and rolled over off of the other, holding his knee. The material had torn, revealing a large forming scab on Jay's knee.
Kaze was less injured, though forming bruises and cuts still littered his skin, threatening to ooze red.

Kahsbi was by their sides, trying to help them with the injuries or comfort them.
Kaze hissed as he rolled his pants up to his leg and it pressed against the bruises and scratches he'd received.

Colleen was standing still on the branch, fear building in her mind rapidly. (The same panic when parents are about to find out to hit your sibling. Older siblings understand.)
Oh fuck, oh shit, oh fuck, oh shit.
Oh fuck, oh shit, oh fuck, oh shit.
Oh fuck, oh shit, oh fuck, oh shit.
Oh fuck, oh shit, oh fuck, oh shit.
Oh fuck, oh shit, oh fuck, oh shit.
Oh fuck, oh shit, oh fuck, oh shit.
Oh fuck, oh shit, oh fuck, oh shit.
Oh fuck, oh shit, oh fuck, oh shit.
Oh fuck, oh shit, oh fuck, oh shit.
Oh fuck, oh shit, oh fuck, oh shit.
