Chapter 22

"C'mon. Talk to me." Red Velvet says. I stare down at the bed, spinning my thumbs around each other nervously.

"I've been having these dreams where you die. It was different last night. You died and I thought woke up, unable to move, and you killed me." I mumble.

"Is there anything I can do?" He asks. I hesitate before shaking my head.

We sit there for a bit in silence. He wraps his around my waist and I rest my head on his. I don't know what to say. It's nice sitting with him and not talking.

"Do you want to talk to Werewolf?" He asks.

"No." I mumble.

Thinking of it, I haven't seen Werewolf in a while. He does come in and check on me when I'm not with Red Velvet but other than that I haven't seen him.

"So, would you want to walk today?" He asks.

"Could we wait another day?" I ask softly.

"Yeah. Whatever you want, hon." He answers.

He's been using pet names a lot since being back. I don't mind them, they're cute. The main ones he uses are 'hon' or 'love'. It's sweet.

Shit, I'm falling asleep again. I need to stop sleeping constantly. Red Velvet notices that I'm falling asleep and gives me a small kiss on my neck. I smile slightly and let myself sleep, cradled in Red Velvets arms.

"Red Velvet, c'mon. We need to go." I mumble into the crevice of his neck, arms wrapped around him.

"Why? Aren't we happy here?" He asks.

I look around the room. This isn't the Tower, it's my room. I frown to myself as Red Velvet stares at me.

"Are you okay, hon?" He asks. I frown at him. His mouth didn't move when he spoke.

"Y/n, are you okay?" He asks again. It sounded different this time. Louder, like it was echoing around me.

Everything around me starts to shake and collapse. I panic as I watch Red Velvet dissolve in my arms. My hands are covered in jam as I start to shake and scream.

"Hey! Are you okay?!" Red Velvet asks panicked. I look at him and look around the room. It was a dream again.

"Huh? Yeah, I'm fine." I say back.

"Was it the dream again?" He asks, frowning.

"No. It was a different dream." I say back.

"What was it about?" I zone out for a couple of minutes, not listening to his questions. He keeps asking questions. I'm not answering his questions anymore.

"Do you wanna move out?" I ask. He looks back at me confused.

"What? Where would we go?" He asks back.

"We could get our own house. When I'm better obviously. But would you want to?" I say.

"Of course." He says back, giving me a kiss.

We sit there for a bit, not really speaking. I don't know why I asked him that. I guess it would give us more freedom and more time for just us.

"What about kids?" He asks.

"Hm?" I ask back in a bit of a shock.

"I mean, since we're planning to live together, why not kids in the future? We'll obviously adopt and it won't be any time soon." He says back, reassuring me.

"It would be nice, creating our own family. But let's worry about that later on." I say back, smiling.

"I need to go out today for a bit. Do you think you'll be okay on your own?" He asks.

I nod and he smiles, giving me a kiss on cheek before leaving. I sit on the bed silently, watching him leave the room. Now I'm alone with my thoughts.

Red Velvets scared for me. I can tell. He's like a puppy. Loves being around you and feels what you feel. Since I'm scared of my dreams, so is he. I felt really bad.

I'll get better soon. Then we can move on with life. Forget everything about the Tower. I can't wait till the next stage in life.

I apologise for the short chapter! I have a few things to talk about with everyone (feel free to ignore).

So this book is coming to an end very soon. I'm surprised how this blew up like I really wasn't expecting it omg I love you all.
I don't know when the next chapter will be because I've had writers block T-T.

I'm dealing with a lot right now because of my whole father situation and my most recent ex got my insta acc and pretended to be me. I honestly hate this year so far like cmon 2022 🥲.
