It has been a few weeks since the incident between Chaehyun, Minju, and I. Minju hasn't spoken with me ever since then unless she needed to. It has also been a few days since it has been announced by our entertainment that they have arranged a fan meeting for our fans. I was currently sitting in the waiting room, watching Minju from afar. She was talking with the other girls and had such a happy smile on her face.
Eunbi: Just give her some more time to think over it. You know how she is. She loves you to bits. She would never hate you, she is just unsure about herself.
Jahoon: I know and I know how she is always doubting herself but I still don't understand. I have been trying to show her how much I love her and that I would never leave her.
Eunbi: I know but trust me Jahoon when I say she still loves you and she knows how much you love her. Just give her some more time to think about it.
Eunbi unnie patted me on my back with a small smile that I returned. One of the staff walked inside and gestured for us to go out to the main hall of the venue where our fans were waiting for us. The Kep1er girls were already on the stage waiting for us. I met eyes with Chaehyun and could see her mouthing "Did you make up with Minju sunbaenim yet?". I shook my head at her and I could see her pout sadly. As our fans didn't know anything about what was happening they just screamed as they saw Chaehyun "acting cute". We bowed down to our fans and said our greetings before we sat down at the tables, allowing for our fans to slowly greet us all one by one. Since I was on the other end of where the line began, the last person, I posed for the pictures that the fans were taking.
Chaehyun: Haven't you tried to speak more about it with Minju sunbaenim? Trying to clear up all the misunderstandings?
Chaehyun, who was sitting beside me, leaned over to my side so that she could whisper. I glanced over at Minju, who was sitting near the beginning of the table and was talking with a fan. I shook my head and turned my attention back to Chaehyun.
Jahoon: Trust me. I have tried everything. I have tried to talk to her almost every day and try to give her some gifts or just buy some food for her but she doesn't want anything to do with me. Whenever I'm approaching her, she always finds a way to dodge me, and all the gifts and foods I buy for her, she gives to someone else. The only thing I can do right now is to give her some time... and in the worst-case... you know.
I breathed out a heavy sigh as I looked back at Minju. She was smiling brightly. The same way that she had always done when she was with me. The way her eyes were shining when she was looking at the fans. How her eyes were filled with happiness and pouring out with love. Something that I also had experienced before but nothing I deserve now.
After we had talked with each of the fans who had come today, we stepped forward to interact with our fans. Firstly our newest song came on and we dance to it while the Kep1er girls were hyping us up and dancing along with us at the sides. Afterward, we switched. I moved down from the stage and moved closer to our fans, wanting to interact with our fans when suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. Before I knew it I heard a lot of people screaming. I looked down and saw a hand sticking a knife into my stomach. I looked up and saw a young man with black hair. I couldn't see more of his face as the bodyguards were throwing themselves over him meanwhile my vision was beginning to become blurry. I felt myself hitting the floor and hearing a lot of people yelling but couldn't figure out what they all were saying.
Minju: Jahoon!!!
I saw Minju's face appear in my eyesight. She was the only one that I could see clearly. She was crying. Again. Because of me. I reached my hand out to her and wiped the tears that were streaming down her beautiful face.
Jahoon: Minju... I'm sorry...
Minju: Don't say anything Jahoon... please... you have to save energy.
Jahoon: But I want to tell you-
Minju: Don't. I know what you want to say and I forgive you. I'm so sorry for not forgiving you sooner than this. Then maybe none of this would have happened.
Jahoon: None of this is your fault. It is only the bad karma of all I have done is biting me in my butt now.
???: Please make way! Please make way!
I heard the footsteps of people hurrying away to give some space for the paramedic to come to me. I felt myself being lifted up before being brought to the ambulance and was driven away. The last thing I saw was the white roof of the ambulance.
*Minju's POV*
Manager: Come on! Let's go! I will drive you guys to the hospital!
Eunbi unnie and Chaeyeon unnie helped me back up on my feet and linked their arms with mine to keep me up. We all walked over to the van and hopped inside before we drove off the hospital. When we got there both Eunbi unnie and Chaeyeon unnie helped me down and into the hospital.
Manager: I'm sorry but in which room is miss Park Jahoon?
Nurse: She is still in the emergency room right now. If you just go down this hallway and turn right it will lead you to the emergency room.
Minju: Unnie... Will Jahoon unnie survive?
Eunbi unnie and Chaeyeon unnie looked at each other for a while. Eunbi unnie sighed and gave me a small smile.
Eunbi: Don't worry Minju. Jahoon is a strong person. She will survive. She is a strong person. She will be back to normal before you know it.
I looked at Eunbi unnie. She had a worried glance in her eyes and it seemed like she was only saying all of it to calm herself down. We sat down at the bench in front of the emergency room. We sat there for a while before the door to the emergency got wide open and a nurse ran out of the room. Few seconds after he came back with defibrillators. I could feel my breath hitch and my heart stop for a moment. I reached out for Eunbi unnie's hand and felt her giving it a squeeze to calm me down. Please Jahoon.... Please survive....
