Backstory: Madelaine is the daughter of Milady De Winter and Athos.Madelaine's dad left her and her mother when Madelaine was still a baby and she was raised alone by her mother.her uncle Killian used to visit them often and spend time with little Maddie.one day he stopped and Madelaine got upset thinking he abandoned them.in Storybrook she is friends with Ruby and looks at her like an older sister.when Killian returns Madelaine is distant and cold to him because he wasn't there for her or her mother but soon their relationship is fixed after Killian explains why and tells her how much he missed her and her mother.Madelaine becomes close with Henry and treats him like a little brother.
