Backstory: Madelaine is the queen of hell. She is married to Lucifer Morningstar and is the biological mother of Charlie. years ago when Charlie was still a baby Madelaine was kidnapped by some angels who kept her trapped in a secret prison. Lucifer was heartbroken when his wife was taken. He ended up marrying Lilith so Charlie had a mother figure in her life. Then years later Madelaine was able to escape and returned home. Lucifer was shocked his wife was alive as he had thought the angels had killed her. Madelaine was happy to be back with her husband and happy to see her daughter again. Charlie was surprised to learn Lilith was her stepmother but happy to see her real mom again. Lucifer immediately had Lilith sent out of the castle and his marriage with her ended. Madelaine was welcomed back with a huge celebration her husband organized. Madelaine also knew she and Charlie had a lot to check up on but she was willing to let her daughter take her time.
