Backstory: Madelaine was the daughter of Aleera's sister Anne. Unfortunately when Madelaine was 5 her mom got very sick and died. Aleera promised to protect her young niece not wanting to lose the only family she had left. Aleera joined Anna's crew and learned how to fight so she could protect her niece. One day Count Dracula offered Aleera to join him and Aleera agreed betraying Anna in the process. Aleera took her niece along as she told Dracula she could not abandon her niece and he agreed to let Aleera bring Madelaine. At first Madelaine was scared being around the vampires and stayed near her aunt but Aleera assured her that they wouldn't hurt her and Madelaine eventually became a little less scared. Verona and Marishka welcomed Aleera and Madelaine with open arms as they were excited to have a child living in the castle. Years went by and Madelaine grew up. Madelaine developed a love for singing and dancing and wanted to become a singer. Her aunt and the other vampires supported her including Dracula who gifted Madelaine a guitar which she loved. One day a new vampire moved into the castle and he tried to befriend Madelaine but she was scared of him and stayed away from him.
