Backstory: Madelaine is the first born daughter of Lord and Lady Van Tassel and the older sister of Katrina. She is a beautiful and compassionate young lady who enjoys helping others. She is very caring towards her loved ones and is always there for them. She is close with her little sister Katrina and the two of them are always together. Madelaine never believed in the story of the headless horseman and brushed it off as a story that parents told their children so that they didn't misbehave. But that changed when the horseman came back from the dead and started killing the townspeople. Madelaine went to the sight where the horseman's grave was but didn't expect to meet him. When the horseman sees her he immediately is drawn to her. The horseman comes up with a plan to kidnap her and take her with him so she could be his forever.
