Next Morning,
Fateh woke up with a severe headache. He was seeing everything blurr and kept his foot on the broken glass pieces.
Fateh: Ahhh!!......yeh kaanch yaha par kaise aaye?
Fateh suddenly remembered what he did with Tejo last night after drinking.
Fateh: Tejo! TEJO!!!!!!
Tejo heard his voice and somehow came upstairs.
Fateh: Yeh kaanch saaf kyun nahi kiya tumne? BOLO!
Tejo shivered at his roar.
Fateh: Jaldi se saaf karo isse aur mera breakfast ready karo.
Tejo nodded and cleaned the glass pieces and then prepared breakfast with her burnt hands.
Tejo was lost in her thoughts and mixed extra spice in the food by mistake. Tejo served that to Fateh.
Fateh ate it and instantly spitted it out.
Fateh: Paani!!!! Paani lao.......
Tejo gave him water.
Fateh(angrily): Yeh kya khana banaya hain tumne? Tumne jaan booch kar kiya na? Maine kal jo tumhare saath kiya uska badla lene ke liye?
Tejo nodded in no. She was stepping backwards.
Fateh: Iski sazaa toh main tumhe doonga......shaam ko aa kar zaroor doonga. Taiyaar rehna.

Tejo stumbled at the thought that she was again going to face bad consequences.
Fateh came to his office cabin and was doing his work when his P.A knocked at the door.

P.A(Shweta): Sir aapse koi milne aaya hain.

P.A(Shweta): Soneone Mr.Khurana.

Mr. Khurrana: Fateh.......mujhe tumhe kuch batana hain.

Mr.Khurrana: Yaha nahi bata sakta......kya hum kahi bahar chale?
Fateh: Nahi......main abhi office chod kar nahi jaa sakta kahi.
Mr. Khurrana: Yeh tumhare liye jaan na bohot zaroori hain. Yeh Gurpreet aunty ke qaatil ke baare mein hain.
Fateh: Batao kya pata chala tumhe......
Mr.Khurrana: Main yaha nahi bata sakta bola na......kahi bahar chalna padega.
Fateh: Accha chalo.
Mr.Khurrana and Fateh came inside Fateh's car. They closed the windows and locked the door.
Mr. Khurrana: Tum jo kuch bhi jaante ho vo galat hain.
Fateh: Matlab?
Mr.Khurrana: Matlab ki tum ek masoom si ladki ko sazaa de rahe ho.
Fateh: Main abhi bhi nahi samjha.
Mr.Khurrana: Tejo bas ek masoom si ladki hain. Uska Gurpreet aunty ke maut ke saath uss ladki ka koi kasoor nahi hain. Vo bilkul innocent hain.
Fateh: Main tumhari baaton par kaise yakeen kar loon? Mummy ne marte wakt khud mujhe ishara diya tha.
Mr.Khurrana: Accha? Toh fir tumne Tejo ke saath Gurpreet aunty ka qaatil DNA test karwaya tha?
Fateh: Vo toh maine has aise hi karwaya tha kyunki mujhe thoda sa doubt hua tha Mannat par.
Mr.Khurrana: Vo Kaise?
Fateh: Mannat ko meri mummy ki death ke baare mein sab kuch pata tha jab ki usne mujhe bola tha ki vo uss wakt Punjab mein thi hi nahi.
Mr.Khurrana: Tumhara Shaq sahi nikla Fateh.....yeh dekho. Yeh uss din ka CCTV footage hain jis din Gurpreet aunty ki death hui thi.
The footage clearly shows Mannat peeps out from the window of her car. Gurpreet signals towards her and at the same time Tejo was passing from there in a rickshaw with Rupy. Fateh misunderstood that Tejo was the killer. Fateh rushed Gurpreet to the hospital but she was already dead.

Mr.Khurrana: Ab yakeen hua?
Fateh: Nahi.....ho sakta hain ki yeh footage edited ho.
Mr.Khurrana: Accha? Toh fir aaj jab DNA test ke reports aayenge tab tum conform ho lena. Lekin tab tak......

Mr.Khurrana: Tumhe uske past ke baare mein nahi pata?

Mr.Khurrana: Tejo Sandhu Satti Sandhu aur Abhay Sandhu ki beti hain. Jab Abhay Sandhu ki death ho gayi tab Satti Sandhu ko Rupy Sandhu ne fasaya paison ke liye. Kuch hi wakt mein Satti Sandhu ki death ho gayi aur uske baad saamne aaya. Tejo tab 10 saal ki thi. Uske baad Rupy Sandhu ne Tejo ko ghar mein naukrani ki tarah kaam karwaya 18 saal ki umar hone tak. Aur fir uske baad Rupy Sandhu ne Tejo ko bechna shuru kiya.
Fateh: Kya? Vo kaise?
Mr.Khurrana: Matlab ek do raat ke liye paison ke badle Tejo ko bech deta tha vo. Aur Tejo bechari ko sab kuch sahen karna padta tha. Ek baar toh Tejo ne ghar se bhagne ki bhi koshish ki thi lekin pakdi gayi thi. Uske baad toh Tejo ko Rupy ne bohot torture kiya.....tab tak jab tak uski himmat na toot gayi. Vo bachpan mein bohot himmat waali thi yaar lekin uss Rupy Sandhu ne uss bechari ka hausla, himmat,self respect ko tod kar rakh diya.
Fateh was numb after hearing everything.
Mr.Khurrana: Accha chalo main chalta hoon and I hope ki tumhe sacchai par yakeen ho jaaye.
Fateh nodded and Mr.Khurrana left.
Fateh came back to his office but was thinking about Tejo.
At 6 pm a message striked in his phone. It was the DNA reports. It proved that Tejo's DNA did not match the killer's DNA. This proved that Tejo was innocent.
Fateh's eyes became teary remembering everything he did to the pure and innocent soul who had already beared so much since childhood.
Fateh couldn't stay in the office for even a minute and left.
Fateh came back home rushing.
Fateh saw Tejo washing dishes with her burnt hands. Her eyes were full of pain.
Fateh(in a dying voice): Tejo.......
Tejo turned back and was shivering hearing his voice.
Fateh(in a dying voice): Mera dinner mat bana na.
Tejo nodded shivering.
Fateh left to his room and took his mother's picture in his hands. He hugged it and started crying.
Fateh(crying miserably): Maine bohot badi galti kar di hain mummy......maine ek masoom ko sazaa diya hain. Ab main kya karu mummy? Ab main kya karu?
Fateh was crying bitterly till midnight until Tejo knocked on the door. As it was a sound proof door so his voice didn't go out.
Fateh opened the door and saw Tejo standing with a tray full of snacks in her hands.
Fateh: Yeh kyun laayi ho?
Tejo asked him wether she could come in or not. Fateh allowed her.
Tejo placed the tray in the room's table and gave Fateh a chit after writing something in it.

Fateh was again teary eyed seeing her care for him. She was caring for him even after bearing so many bad consequences from him.
Fateh ate the food and Tejo took it out.
Fateh saw Tejo sleeping on the floor and shivering. He laid her on the bed and covered her with a duvet.
Fateh also slept. He was dreaming about his mother.
Fateh's dream,
Gurpreet (crying): Fateh.....tu toh mere qaatilon se badla lena chahta tha na? Toh fir uss masoom si ladki ko kis baat ki sazaa di hain tune? Usne pehle se hi itna kuch saha hain aur tune toh usse aur bhi tadpaya. Bechari Tejo ke saath bohot galat kiya hain tu ne Fateh. Aaj mujhe sharam aa rahi hain tujhe apna beta kehte huye.
Saying this Gurpreet's soul faded away.

Fateh woke up with a jerk.
Fateh: Mummy!!!!!!
Fateh was panting. He saw Tejo sleeping peacefully beside him.
Fateh(in mind): I promise mummy ki main Tejo ko diye huye har dard ki sazaa doonga apne aap ko aur Tejo tak koi bhi dukh nahi pohochne doonga. Tejo se takrane waale har dard aur takleef ko pehle mera saamna karna padega. Main Tejo ko har vo khushi doonga jo vo deserve karti hain.
