Scene starts at the ward where Tejo was lying.
Fateh came there and held Tejo's hand.
Fateh: Jaanta hoon main.......bohot bura hoon main lekin uski sazaa tumne aapne aap ko kyun dii? Main maanta hoon ki maine tumhare saath jaanwaron se bhi battar sooloog kiya hain lekin ab jab mujhe meri galtiyon ka ehsaas ho chuka hain aur main unhe sudhaar na chahta hoon toh tumne apni yeh halat bana li hain. Kyun bachaya tumne mujhe? Kyun?
Fateh was crying bitterly holding Tejo's hand.
Just then a nurse came in.
Nurse: Aapko yeh dawaiyaan laani hain.....aur aap please bahar jaaiye mujhe inhe sponge bath dena hain.
Fateh left after wiping his tears.
Scene shifts to doctor's cabin.
A girl in her early twenties came in.
Doctor: Arrey come my princess.
The girl hugged the doctor.
The girl: Mummy I missed you so much.
The doctor: I also missed you Priya.
Priya: Lekin ab mein kahi nahi jaa rahi hoon. Main toh aaj hi iss hospital mein join kar rahi hoon as a doctor.
The doctor: Wow! That's a good news my dear.
Priya:Let me show you your cabin.
The doctor: Thik hain chalo.
Priya and her mother(the doctor) came outside when a nurse came with a patient.
Priya: Oh my God. She needs first aid immediately. Take her to ward no.4.
The nurse did as ordered.
Priya did the first aid of the patient. Priya saw Tejo.
Priya's mother also came.
The doctor: Kya dekh rahi hain Priya?
Priya: Mummy yeh yaha.......
The doctor: Yeh ladki coma mein hain. Kal hi yaha par admit hui hain. Bechari ko bohot wakt se torment kiya gaya hain. Iska pati iss bechari ko jaanwaron jaise treat karta hain.
Priya: Aapko yeh sab kaise pata chala?
The doctor: Iss ladki ke body par bohot saare ghaon hain jo yeh saabit karte hain ki isko bohot torture kiya gaya hain.
Priya started crying.
The doctor: Tum ro kyun rahi ho Priya?
Priya(crying): Main isse jaanti hoon maa......iska naam Tejo hain. Iss bechari ne bachpan se sirf aur sirf dukh aur dard jhela hain. Bachpan mein jab yeh 10 saal ki thi tab iski mummy mar gayi. Aur fir iske papa Rupy Sandhu isko naukrani o ki tarah kaam karata tha. Isko mere PG mein bhi kaam karne ke liye bheja tha. Aur kai baar iss bechari ko iske papa ne raat ko kisi ameer zaade sharabi ko bech deta tha paison ke badle mein. Aur ab iska pati bhi ek haiwaan nikla.......mujhe milna hain iske pati se. Kya main mil sakti hoon usse?
The doctor: Haan....mil sakti ho......vo hospital ke medical store mein hi hain.
Priya wiped her tears and went to the medical store which was in the hospital only.
Priya went to the medical store and asked the shopkeeper present over there that who is buying medicines for patient named Tejo.
The shopkeeper pointed towards Fateh. Fateh was backfacing Priya.
Priya went to Fateh and slapped him hard. Fateh removed his mask and hugged Priya but priya pushed him away from herself.
Priya: Fateh tum Tejo ke pati ho? Tum ho vo haiwaan jo uss bechari ko jaanwaron ki tarah rakhta hain? Chiii!!!!!Ghin aa rahi hain mujhe tumse Fateh. Mujhe tumse yeh umeed nahi thi.
Fateh(teary eyed): Main yeh nahi karna chahta tha Priya.......main tumhe bata ta hoon ki maine Tejo se shaadi kyun ki aur kyun uske saath jaanwaron jaisa bartav kiya.
Fateh then narrated everything to Priya.
Fateh: Main usse apni maa ka qaatil samajh baitha tha aur isiliye iss bechari ko itna torture kiya maine.
Fateh(teary eyed): Main jaanta hoon ki maine bohot badi galti ki hain aur galti kya maine gunah kiye hain. Lekin ab mujhe sab kuch sach pata chal gaya hain. Main apni har galti sudharna chahta hoon Priya.
Priya: Yeh toh acchi baat hain ki tumhe tumhari galtiyon ka ehsaas ho chuka hain........jaante ho Fateh..har ladki ka ek fairytale ka sapna hota hain.....koi na koi expectation zaroor hoti hain apne life partner ko le kar.....lekin Tejo ko sirf ek hi expectation thi uski life partner se ki vo usse uss narak se bahar nikale aur uski izzat kare. Uss bechari ne bachpan se bohot dukh dard jhela hain Fateh......agar tum use pyaar nahi de sakte toh mat do lekin please usse dard bhi mat do. Vo bohot saaf aur acche dil ki ladki hain. Agar tum usse kabhi jhootha pyaar ya concern ya fir care dikahoge toh bhi vo tumse sacche dil se pyaar karegi. Tumhari life khushiyon se bhar degi. Agar tumhe sach mein apni galtiyon ka ehsaas ho chuka hain toh tum apni galtiyan sudhaaro aur uske zindagi ke har mukaam pe uska saath do. Uska haath aur saath kabhi mat chodo Fateh. Apne pati na sahi lekin ek dost hone ka farz nibhao. Usse ek sacche dost ki aur ek sacche hamsafar ki bohot zaroorat hain.
Fateh nodded and left.
Fateh came to Tejo's ward and gave the required medicines to the nurse.
1 month later,
Tejo has still not came out from coma. Fateh now spends most of his time with Tejo.....sitting beside her and staring at her lifeless and pale face for hours. Her wounds which used to satisfy him....now those wounds pierces in his heart and always reminds him of what inhumanity he had shown to a poor and pure soul.
Fateh cries hours sitting in his room when he comes in his house to change his clothes. He fills Tejo's hairline with vermilion everyday just the way she liked....neither too bold nor too thin.
Present Day,
Fateh was in Tejo's ward when he saw Priya entering. Priya sat down beside Fateh.
Priya: Fateh yaad hain tumne mujhse ek baar poocha tha ki Tejo ne bolna kyun chod diya?
Fateh: Hmmm....yaad hain.
Priya: Mujhe itne dino ke baad yaad aayi yeh baat ki Tejo ne bolna kyun chod diya tha.
Fateh: Batao na Priya.
Priya: Bachpan mein Tejo ek chatter box thi lekin jab iski mummy ki death ho gayi tab isne bolna chod diya kyunki iski baat sunne waala koi nahi tha. Vo Rupy toh bilkul nahi sunta tha.....aur rahi baat iske doston ki toh iske dost the hi nahi. Jo bhi the they didn't cared about her. Maine isse ek bar poocha tha lekin isne jawab nahi diya lekin mujhe pata chal hi gaya.
Fateh was teary eyed.
Fateh(teary eyed): Lekin uss din jab mujh par hamla hua tha tab vo chillai thi pehli baar mere saamne lekin usse pehle usse maine itna torture kiya......lekin isle muh se uff tak nahi nikli. Aisa kyun?
Priya: Aisa isiliye hua tha kyunki usko vo saare tortures sahene ki addat thi....usse bachpan se uss Rupy ne bohot torture kiya hain.....lekin jab tum par hamla hua toh usse ho sakta hain ki aisa kuch yaad aa gaya ho jo uske past se juda ho aur vo nahi chahti thi ki vo incident tumhare saath bhi ho. Isiliye vo uss din chillai.
Fateh nodded and told Priya that he understood.
