KEN's POV
“So, the bride's bestfriend will perform for us tonight! Let's give him a warm applause!” The Host said while im preparing myself.
Umakyat ako ng stage sukbit ang gitara ko. Gumilid ako para di ko maharangan si Y/N at James, ang bride at groom.
Iniayos ko ang mic at itinapat sa labi ko. Iniayos ko ang gitara ko, bahagyang tumingin sa mga abay a imibitado.
“Best wishes and congrats, Y/N and James!” Sabi ko at ngumiti sa mga tao roon, kahit pa kabaligtaran ang nadarama ko.
“L-looks like we made it, look how far we've come, my baby.~” I sang as i strummed my guitar
“We might took the long way, we knew we'd get there someday.~” As i sang, i looked at the bride. Which is the girl i love, but i let her go.
“They said, "I bet, they'll never make it.". But just look what we're going on.~” I haven't confess my feelings to Y/N yet. Im just waiting for the right time, but i didn't know that she had her boyfriend already.
“You're still the one. You're still the one that i run to, the one that i belong to. You're still the one i want for life.~” Sayang naman di ko nasabi na mahal na mahal ko siya na higit pa sa kaibigan.
After a few minutes, im done with my performance. At sa bawat minuto, ako'y di natuto. Sa bawat minuto, bawat sulyap ko ay masaya kayo.
Ipilit mang iba, ako'y maghihintay sayo. Nais kong ikaw ang aking kapiling sa huling sandali. Kasalanan ba kung puso natin ang magwawagi.
