Yesterday was incredible.
Jose was somehow able to book out Disneyland for the day and he flew my entire family out to enjoy the park. It was so amazing and just knowing that he did this for us just earned him a hundred points in all of our books.
The kids had the most amazing time and it was just nice to be able to freely walk around the park without being photographed by random people. There is always someone complaining when we turn up to an amusement park because we always end up infront so atleast nobody can say anything now.
"Do you think daddy sounds good?" I ask Cristian as he runs around the room with these big headphones on. Jose has a show later today but he is doing parts of his soundcheck now so I decided to bring our kid along to see his daddy work.
"Cool." Cristian smiles big and I stick my tongue out at him. He runs towards me with his arms up in the air before lunging at me which makes me laugh as I gently roll down onto my back with Cristian in my arms.
I laugh as he attempts to tickle my body with those tiny hands of his which makes him feel superior.
"Got you, mommy." Cristian giggles and I fake a laugh as he continues to tickle.
"No baby, I give up." I hold my hands up in surrender. "Save me, Cristian."
"Ok mommy." Cristian finally gets off me and helps me to my feet which makes me smile. I lift him up in the air before pulling him close to my chest because he is my biggest love.
I still can't believe that I'm a mom.

Jose takes a break from his soundcheck to check in on us and I smile as he takes Cristian out of my arms. I love the bond that Cristian shares with his father and it's a shame that it took a while to get to this stage because of Jose not opening up about his own issues.
I'm excited to bring a new child into this world but I do worry about the dynamics of our family. I can't Jose running off every time things get rocky, I need him at my side for the whole thing because I can't keep playing the game.
