I turn back to look at Cardi and Offset who were recording my reaction to the song that we recorded. Collaborating with Cardi was not something that I had expected to do but I'm so pleased to have done it.
"I'm telling you." Cardi pops her lips. "We are going to be number one for months."
Cardi then hands me some documents which has some of her ideas for the music video. I flicker through them as she briefly tells me what she wants to do before we listen to the song one more time.
Once we have finished, Offset leaves to go pick up Kulture.
"Now that my man is gone... I heard that you got back with your man." Cardi sticks her tongue out. "Is it true or is the dick just too good?"
I laugh at her question.
"We are working on getting back together but we're not official just yet." I rub my lips together. "I don't want to make the same mistake as last time, I want us to properly get to know eachother."

We leave her studio and head to her kitchen to get ourselves a drink. I thank Cardi as she hands me a glass of water before pouring herself some wine.

"Jose, for sure." I don't even have to think twice because Jose definitely knows how to please a woman and make her feel good.
