"This is crazy." I tell my mother as I look down at my campaign shoots. Besides doing music, I have secretly been working on my own cosmetics brand.

I always said that I wouldn't have my own cosmetics brand but I've been really inspired by my sisters and I just want another business venture. For everything that I sell, 40 percent of the proceeds will go towards charity. Forty would go towards the business and twenty percent will go into Cristian's account.

"I'm really proud of you." My mother smiles. "I have a feeling that this is going to blow up."

"I can only hope." I push the campaign photos to the side.

"Do you plan to have any collaborations?" My mom asks and I think about it for a moment.

"I have a whole list of people that I want to collaborate with but I don't want to think about that until I establish my business. I want to make sure that I'm putting out good quality products with a wide shade range." I answer as I bite down on my lower lip.

I look down at the ground to see Cristian gesturing for me to pick him up so I do just that, I place him on my lap.

"We're planning to go up to the Malibu." My mom mentions as she starts playing with my son. "I'm really hoping that you will show up since you haven't attended a family vacation in a while."

I roll my eyes.

"I'll be there mom. I'm not sure about Jose but I'll be sure to ask him." I play with Cristian's hair. "Jose and Kourtney haven't spoken in a while, I don't want any drama happening around my son."

True to my word, I met my family up in the Malibu. 

My family were pleasantly surprised to see me there and we spent the first two hours catching up on eachothers lives. Everyone has been so busy with their lives, we just don't see eachother as much as we used to.
