I'm not going to be one of those people who holds a launch party everytime I drop a product, I'll just save that for the big launches. Knowing that I actually have a business now is crazy because I never thought that I would start one since I waited so long. If I weren't for me having a child, I probably wouldn't have started one because I've been business orientated like some of my sisters.
"Kendall, I can't just drop everything I'm doing to fly to New York." My mom sighs as she talks to my sister over the phone and I gesture for her to put her phone on loudspeaker as I hand Cristian the mini tortilla wraps that I made him.
"Why not? You drop everything to be there for Kandice." I pull a face because why she did bring me into this. "She argues with Jose every other day and you always run to her because she's a cry baby."
My mom covers my mouth before I can open it.
"Now that's not really a nice thing to say, Kenny." My mom gives me a look as I try to snatch the phone out of her hand. "I told you that the earliest I could be there is tomorrow morning."
"That's not good enough." Kendall snaps. "If Kandie calls you right no-"
I pinch my mom's hand and she winces, "She's already here, puta."
"Ouch Kandie." I grab her hand before giving it a kiss which makes her roll her eyes.
"Of course you're with her."
