Chapter 6

Flashback continues........

After funeral

Monu was blank... Her eyes were numb... She was looking at her mother's photo which had a mala over it

Koel was in her room sleeping because of the injection given to her to calm her down

Sid was behind the wall... Tears flowing from his eyes which he was hiding from everyone.....

Kyu?! he whispered looking above at the celling

But ye hua kaise? he said to himself wiping his tears

He looked around finding someone... His eyes stopped at Shaam who was the first one to tell him about the fire

Sid: Shaam dada!

Shaam: ji... ji sir!

Sid: dada wo, ye sab kaise hua matlab apko Kuch pata hai?

Shaam: Pata to nahi hai par cctv dekh ke pata laga sakte hai

Sid: Haa! Aap please ek baar cctv dekh ke aayenge... Main Deepak uncle ke saath hu..

Shaam: ji!

After he left Sid looked around and after not finding him he went upstairs in his and aunty's room making a guess he might be there

Knock knock

Deepak: Yes! Yes come in.. (wiping his tears)

Sid: Aasu kyu chupa rahe hai uncle?

Deepak: Sid! (He gestured him to come in.... He hugged him patted his back and then parted)

Sid: Aap theek hai uncle?

Deepak: Shayad (whispered but he heard it)

Sid: Aap theek nahi hai uncle... Jis insaan ne apne bachpan ke dost cum bhai, bhen jaisi bhabhi aur apni wife ko khoya ho wo theek nahi hoga!

Deepak was speechless he was just remembering everything... His childhood life, how mrs Ganju became a sister for him... His first meet with Juhi... Everything that happened few hours back... His talk with three of them at hospital...

Sid: Sab theek hoga

He heard him saying more like asking him... He knows sid will never express his emotions but is really not in a good state of mind

Deepak: Sab theek hoga!

He said in a assuring voice... When he heard another knock on the door

They looked back to see shaam standing with his head down...
Deepak and Sid looked at each other... Sid walked towards him

Sid: Dada apne dekha cctv footage? Ye sab kaise hua?

Shaam: Sir wo... Wo... Y- ye...sa- sab

Sid and Deepak again looked at each other... Why was shaam fumbling? They thought

Deepak: Kya hua Shaam sab theek hai na?

Shaam: Aap dono khud aake dekh lijiye.. ye sab kaise hua

The three of them went in the cctv room.. both of them were beyond shocked... They had tears but there eyes were now red in anger.....
