She could remember Karan taking on phone late night, him smirking, his not being here..
Her heart didn't allowed her to believe but her mind has overpowered her heart
Whatever happened till now she was strong.. she believed that maybe everything would get back to normal once again between 2 of them... The 2 families but today her trust was broken...... Very badly
Her chain of thoughts were broken when she heard her phone ringing...
On call
"Hello Monami?! Kaha ho tum? Humne pura hospital dhund liya tum kahi nahi mili...."

"Uh woh main- haa woh Karan ko phone try kar rahi thi lag hi nahi Raha tha isiliye bahar aayi thi taki network problem na ho... Aur fir Mann Kiya toh thoda aage aa gayi.. mind relax karne ke liye"
"Acchaa..." He said not convinced totally
"Ye sab chodo karan ka phone aa gaya hai woh apne office main hai.. chinta mat karo aur jaldi se wapas aa jao"
"Main thodi der main aati hu faizi.. mujhe karan se kuch kaam hai" she said fisting her hands
"Usse kuch bataya tumne? She asked Faizi
"Aree woh ek important meeting main hai suna hi nahi.. usne bola thodi der main karega tab bata denge"
"Faizi main karan se milne ja rahi hu... Khud personally bata dungi usse"
"Monami woh mil nahi payega... He is really serious about meetings... Uske liye uske clients bahut important hai"
"Uske liye uske clients se important uski wife aur wife ki family honi chahiye... Ab byee main ja rahi hu usse Milne meri chinta mat karna"
Saying so she hung the call
She fisted her hand
"Bas ab bahut hua" she said and walked away

Faizi looked at the phone and shook his head

He heard a sound... He looked behind and his eyes stopped on the gate where the voice came from
"Koel" he whispered and ran
He opened the door with a force only to look at koel with a puppy face looking down at something
He look down to see broken pieces of glass and water all over the floor.. he chuckled a bit and moved towards her
"Agar kuch chahiye tha toh ye button daba deti ya kisi ko bula leti" he said
Koel looked up at him and their eyes got locked... She cutely hold her ears making a cute pout to which faizi bit his lips controlling his smile
