A LOUD SCREAM ECHOED THROUGH the shared apartment causing Jessie to jump up from her seat, sprinting towards the sound. That being inside Marley's room.

Slamming the door open the dark skinned girl only stared at her best friends body laying with their head pressed against their pillow. "Marley what the fuck?" She exclaimed causing Marley to sit up facing her. "What?"

"Don't yell like that. You scared the shit out me."

Ignoring her roommates words Marley only shoved her phone into Jessie's face. Scanning the screen a sympathetic smile crossed Jess lips as she looked back at her best friend.

"You mad cause she friend-zoned you right?" Jessie asked sitting down beside Marley  as she handed the phone back. "Yeah I mean I get it, I can't force her to become gay for me but still. This shit hurts like stepping on lego." They mumbled laying down, Jessie copying their actions.

"I get that." Their roommate sighed. "But you never know, some day maybe she'll realize what a great person you are and that you're like perfect girlfriend material for her." Jess shrugged.

"In my dreams." Marley said before looking over at her best friend. "How did that date go?"Covering her face with her hands Jessie groaned causing Marley to chuckle. "That bad?" She questioned.

"I hit him in the face with a golf ball."

Trying not to laugh Marley nodded before a snort escaped her causing Jessie to glare at her. "I'm sorry! But seriously?" Earning a nod they bit their lip. "Wow. But how did he react?"

"At first he seemed pissed of. But then he told me that it was okay. And apparently it had happen to him before. But I don't know I still felt really bad so I was awkward the rest of the date." The Baker girl explained as Marley listened. "I'm sure it's cool between you guys. Ask him on another date as in a way of apologizing maybe?" She said causing Jessie to shrug. "Maybe."
