You and josh have a kid called Sam
Dave called josh to tell him you'll be going to Miami for a little business trip
You've gotten engaged and are busily planning your wedding mostly you but josh helps from time to time
Sam is now 4 years old
It's now been 2 weeks and you're in Miami
Josh is hardly there and you've really started to miss him
When you wake up he's gone when you go to sleep he's not even home no matter what time it is
You couldn't blame him after all you weren't trying to spend time with him you didn't want to contact him didn't want to disturb him from his work
However it doesn't seem a lot of work is being done
You've seen on Instagram he's been go karting and bowling just every activity but work
You wake up at 8 am to Sam crying and josh not in bed yet again
This was a common thing for you to wake up too so you just go to him
But to your surprise Josh is in sams room calming or at least trying to calm him down
You: oh you're here!
Josh: I go in later
You: cool well I will take him
He has sensed the dynamic has changed between you two
Josh: are we ok?
You: yeah why?
Josh: I don't know I guess our dynamic has changed you know?
You: yeah cause I mean we haven't spent any time together since we've been here and it's been like 2 weeks
Josh: I can't help it it's work
You: I know I'm not blaming you but what work have you done?
Josh: what do you mean?
You: it's just whenever I see you you're always having fun or doing something unrelated to work
Josh: those are team building exercises
You: yeah but every day?
Josh: Dave says what to do but I see what you mean
You: thank you
Josh: for what?
You: for understanding any other guy would've been all up in my face
Josh: well lucky for you I'm not any other guy I'm your fiancé plus I know why you are saying this
You: what is that?
josh: you miss me
You: * laughing * maybe maybe not
Josh: I'm like a magnet to you
You: shut up
Josh winks up at you and you smile
You: looks whose the playa
Josh: I always was
You: yeah well Sams asleep again so let's go back to bed
Josh: sure-
He gets interrupted by his phone ringing
Lo and behold it's dave
Josh: yo what's up?
Dave: come on we got an hour till we need to film some content
Josh: but today I was going to go in later while chilling with my fiancée
Dave: sorry man duty calls
Josh: can I just not come in?
Dave: you have to
Josh: I missed out on a lot with my girl and my son so I'm sorry but I'm not coming in today
Dave: ok well we'll see how we can schedule around your down time
Josh: thanks for this
Dave: no worries
He ends the call and you look at him once he is inside the bedroom
Josh: what?
You: you didn't have to decline his offer you know? We would've been fine. Me and Sam have been these last two weeks
Josh: I know I know but I missed you too and I mean what I said more time will be spent will you and our son
You kiss him
You: who knew you were a softie?
Josh: only for you
You giggle even more and he kisses you
Josh: I love you you do know that right?
You: yeah of course
Josh: good
You: now I'm going back to sleep it's too early to be professing your love at 9 am
You fall asleep as you lay on him
You wake up at 12 pm and josh is sleeping
You go to the bathroom and go into the shower
Josh knocks on the door
You: I'm in here
Josh: alright I'll make Sam some breakfast
You go out after 10 minutes and see josh cooking away distracted by Sam
You smile at him and feed Sam but he denies it
