Amelia's POV
"Where the hell is he?!" I said as I paced round the attending's room
"He's not picking up" said Jo as she came in
"Course he won't pick up damn!" Yelled Callie
"We should be calling Carina. Right away" said Arizona as she walked in
"We're not calling Carina at 2am saying his son is missing" said Callie
"What's the plan then? We've got no way to track him down" I said
"How did he leave? There's no way he could have driven a car" said Arizona
"Uber? Taxi? Friend. Girlfriend" said Callie holding her head "there's at least 100 possibilities"
"Did someone try calling the girlfriend?" I asked
"No answer" said Jo
"Fuck" I said
"We need to call Carina" said Arizona
"Tell her what?" Said Callie
"The truth Callie. It's his son" she said "he's not a patient anymore. He has discharged himself. We're allowed to call and inform he has left"
"Arizona, it's 2am!" Callie said
"Exactly! He might have no clue where he is. He could be anywhere as far as we know"
"Call her" said Bailey as she walked in "call Carina right away"
"Bailey" I said
"Robbins call her. Now" she said seriously
"On it" she said as she got up
Maya's POV
"What the hell are you talking about?!" I said as Carina pulled on her clothes
"Missing. As missing Maya. He left the hospital on his own!" She said panicking
"Woah. Woah woah" said Andy as she jogged in "what the hell is happening?" She asked
"He's what?!" She yelled after Carina explained
"I'm going out to search" I said as I got dressed
"I'll go with you" nodded Andy as she jogged into her room
"Maya I need to go out look for him" said Carina
"Car. Sophie is fast asleep in the room right next to us. The last thing she needs it's to know this" I said as I could see tears forming in her eyes "hey hey" I said "listen to me. We'll find him. I will find him alright?"
She nodded as I hugged her tightly till Andy jogged back
"Mai let's go" she said already changed
"Where the hell is he Andy" I said as I hopped into the passengers seat
"We'll find him mai. We'll find him" she reassured me as she drove the car
Carina's POV
"Mama?" I heard a voice walking into the leaving room
"Soph" I said as I noticed her walking "why are you up?" I asked
"I heard you" she said as she walked over to me
"Is everything alright?" She asked
"Yeah." I lied "Andy and mom headed over to the station. I couldn't fall back asleep" I said
"Oh right" she said as she cuddled up next to me
"Why don't you go back to sleep bambina it's late" I said
"I'm not really tired" she said and I smiled
"Your closing eyes say otherwise" I said
I remained playing with her hair as she fell asleep almost instantly. Just trying to hold my tears back. Not picturing the worst case scenario I'm my mind.
Amelia's POV
"How on gods name did Delucas Son walked out of this hospital?!" Yelled Bailey
"Bailey!" I said "he signed against medical advice" I said "we didn't know he had signed it, we didn't know he was leaving. It's not like we pushed him out"
"He's legally an adult." Said Callie "it's his right to leave if he wants to leave"
"An adult" muttered Bailey "they turn 18 and the law lets them do whatever the hell they want"
"Bishop and Herrera are on the look" said Jo "they're out in the aid car looking for him"
"Thanks god" said Arizona "did someone check the cameras?"
"Inconclusive" I said "damn"
Carina's POV
Enough is enough. I couldn't take it any longer.
I wasn't going to just sit around knowing he could be wondering anywhere
I grabbed my phone and quickly place it on my ear
"Carina?" They answered
"Jo" I said "I need you" I said
Maya's POV
"What the hell am I going to do Andy" I said as I began to freak out
"Maya..." she began
"All of this is my fault. Everything" I said "if it wasn't cause of me he'd be alright. He wouldn't have been hospitalized, he would be okay" I said
"Maya none of this is your fault" she said "none of it"
"He's my son and I caused this" I said as I broke into tears.
"Mai..." she said
Carina's POV
"Carina" she said as she got home
"Jo. Thank you" I said "I just need you to stay here. Till she wakes up again, tell her you'll drive her over to the hospital, that I was paged 911 alright?"
"Carina someone else can go. I can..." she began
"I have a hunch" I said "I just feel it"
"You call me" she said "If there's anything, at all that you need"
I nodded and quickly jogged over to my room and got changed. Grabbed keys and jumped into my car
As I pulled into the driveway I began to feel goosebumps, seeing my house once again after everything that had happened. Knowing what had happened inside those walls
I got out of my car and walked up to the front door. Placed my key in and after unlocking it took a deep breath.
Amelia's POV
"Carina is out on the look" I said as I walked back into the attending lounge
"He's going to turn up" said Callie "there's no way he got that far"
"If he managed to get far" I said
"Amelia" said Callie
"It's true" I said "he was under strict neuro observation"
"We gotta stay positive" said Bailey as she closed the door behind "Ben just called me. Whole 19 station is out on the look."
"Jo is bringing Sophie in" said Arizona as she read her phone
"Does she know?" I asked and she shook her head
"I guess there's nothing to really say till he shows up"
