Personality: Shiori is a calm yet kindhearted girl who is always there for her family. Ever since she lost her parents, she always tried her best to be there for her siblings, through good times and bad times. Shiori is also willing to give up anything she has for their sake, especially when it means putting her life at risk.

Appearance: Shiori has long dark blue hair and teal eyes (see first picture below 👇), similar to Shōma. She appears to be a few inches shorter than him, as well.

Background: Takakura Shōma, Kanba, Shiori, and Himari lived a relatively peaceful life with their parents for the majority of their childhood. They were a close and loving family, and the siblings adored their parents to pieces. On the night that Kanba, Shiori, and Shoma were born, there was an incident on the subway -- presumably, a terrorist attack, causing the subway train to crash, killing a large number of people, one of whom was Oginome Momoka (Oginome Ringo's older sister). It wasn't until some years later that Takakura Chiemi and Takakura Kenzan were arrested by the police for being conspirators in the incident, after which the four children were forced to live on their own in order to properly look after and care for Himari, whose illness was driving her to the point of death.

Trivia:

- The name Shiori means "poem"(詩) and "weave" (織).

- Shiori's surname Takakura means "tall, high" (高) (taka) and "warehouse" (倉) (kura).

- She is younger than Shōma by 5 seconds and younger than Kanba by 8 seconds.

- Shiori is the closest to Shōma and Himari, the former because they are biological siblings and the latter because they are the only sisters in the sibling group.

- Shiori is interested in reading the novel Night on the Galactic Railroad and often compares herself and Shōma to Giovanni and Kanba to Campanella.

- She is the only girl who sacrificed her life in the end, as all the other girls are still alive.
