Appearance: Kiyoko is a very beautiful and attractive girl for her age as throughout the series as some boys would often turn their heads on her. She is a slender girl of short stature with brown eyes, very fair skin, and long, straight, black hair with the bangs falling on her forehead. She's never seen without a long hair-pin stick (which is later revealed to contain the essence of the Sun Goddess Amaterasu). Her demon slayer mark is located on her nape and in the form of the Sun's rays.

During the final fight against Muzan and, later, Tanjirō, when Amaterasu took control of a fatally wounded Kiyoko (unceremoniously impaled by Muzan), the latter's eyes become gold while white and turquoise wisp-shaped marks appear on both of her legs.
After the fight, Kiyoko has finally recovered from her wounds, though she gains a long diagonal scar on her stomach and the marks on her legs are still retained, though now they became the color of her skin and the outline still visible, as a reward and a small benign price to pay for using Amaterasu's power for the greater good. Additionally, Kiyoko acquired sectoral heterochromia as her entire right eye and the upper part of her left eye reverted back to brown while the lower half of her left eye remained gold.
