Chapter 28: Tease.

Elina POV.

I opened the main door, my eyes met with the gaurd.

"Ma'am, someone wants to meet you. She is waiting outside."

"Oh did she tell her name?"

The gaurd shook his head. I nodded and stepped to see who was there to meet me.

"Ma'am please wait. It's not safe for you to go alone. May i accompany you?"

I nodded my head. It's not safe for anyone to go out and meet a stranger like that.

The gaurd accompanied and stayed behind me.

The car looked unfamiliar. The windows rolled down and i was shocked.

It was Ashley.

What the heck is she doing here?

She gestured me to come closer, I cautiously walked towards her. The gaurd was still next to me.

"I wanted to talk to you about something important."

Ashley said. She looked behind me at the gaurd annoyingly.

"In private."

She added. I sighed not at all feeling safe. What would Edward say when he sees her again ?

I assured the gaurd I'll be alright and stood near the window.

"Come in, i don't bite."

I know what I'm getting myself into but let me atleast hear her out.

I sat next to her in her car.

"What?"

"First of all, I'm sorry. The last time i said terrible things to you. It was just so hard to accept that Edward didn't love me back.. But i am moving on now."

"Okay."

"I'm sure he loves you. You both are dating right?"

How the fuck did she know?

"Mm.. no.. we aren't.. we are just friends."

She shrugged.

"You like him right?"

I was about to say no.

"You don't have to say it. Your eyes gave away the answer."

I sighed. I just didn't felt right to stay here with her. Edward would not like it.

"I was wondering if we could be friends."

I raised my eyebrows at her words. Then i slowly nodded because she wasn't really being offensive and there's nothing bad with getting one more friend.

I hope she doesn't pull any weird stunt on me.

Then i got off her car bid her a goodbye. I was about to walk inside the kitchen but halted my steps when i heard a familiar voice.

"Look i understand what you-"

It was Jack!

He sounded frustrated.

"I don't get much of free time here okay?"

Must be his girlfriend.

"Wha- Sin, i am trying get all the info-"

He stopped when he noticed me.

"I'll call you back."

And he hung up and stared at me.
