A soft touch makes her be aware of the little back pain she is currently experiencing, leaning more into the soft touch, she moves her head towards the hand, that right now is massaging her scalve.
"Light sleeper, right" she hears a scoff
Jennifer shuts her eyes and avoids the rays of sun shining into her barely opened eyes.
Feeling content with the person who is taking care of her sleeping self.
"Pen shh" A quieter voice shush it out, while the palm of the hand has gone down to her jaw, gently
"Wake her up already, I'm getting hungry" Somebody huffs and then she feels something soft hit her head rather strongly
"Garcia!" The soft caring voice says abruptly getting up and completely stopping her previous calming movements
"Doctor get your ass up, breakfast has been ready for a while"
Jennifer opens her eyes at the mention of breakfast, last night she went to sleep with an empty stomach, so the mention of food is really calling to her right now
"Uh" She groans, rubbing her eyes a little, still laid down, she opens them and the first thing she sees is Emily schuched down. Brown eyes meet blue and the younger woman instantly smiles at her.
"What time is it?" Jennifer lets out a small yawn before she remembers where she is.
"A little after nine, want some coffee Jayje?" Emily offers her, pointing to the fresh pot of coffee in their living room table
"Oh, coffee would be great" She murmurs, rapidly checking her phone to text Sean
'Hey, I kind of overslept, can we delay it for like two hours'
'I figured, sure i don't have a problem'
'Rough night?'
'Something like that, i'll meet you at eleven'
'Sweet, i'll be there'
Their exchange is a short one, because her stomach grumbling has priorities before continuing the conversation with her friend
"You would think that being a doctor herself, she would have the necessities to survive down by now" Penelope jokes as she turns her attention towards the two roomates that are already eating
"What can I say, she has always been slow at deciding what she has to do first" Emily adds making Penelope nearly spill her orange juice
"Very funny Em" The young doctor smirks at her. "And here i thought that you loved me"
"It's all a facade to get you out" Penelope replies laughing at her attuned face, while Emily tries to hold her own laugh fro sounding
"Fine then" Jennifer reasons standing up from the chair she was seated in. "I know when I'm not welcomed"
"Come on jayje sit down, you didn't even finish your cereals" The younger brunette reasons, Penelope is grinning like a mad woman occasionally sipping from her cup
"She is not going anywhere" The blonde colourful woman says
"I am"
"No, you don't have enough guts to get out of this apartment "
"I do, watch me" The younger doctor announces as she closes the door of their apartment, as she walks through the hall, she realised she has forgot everything she came with and is forced to ring the bell again
