Chapter 4: departing

Author's note: just a heads up this chapter is a little shorter than usual but still had a few big things happen. So I hope you enjoy this chapter and I promise more is yet to come and huge things are about to happen later in the book and I mean huge, so look out for that. And I just wanted to say sorry if the first couple of chapters were kind of a snooze. But I am new to this and I am trying my best to make it all entertaining.

Aystria is looking off into the distance in her dorm room as she waits to be called back to her realm. Then a guard goes through her door and she stands up.

"Time to go." The guard says and she nods then he locks her up in some cuffs. As they go through the hallways, then out the main doorway to outside.

She sees The Light King, Callen and James outside. And she smirks once she does.

"Had to say good bye?" She asked Callen and he rolls his eyes.

"Nope just doing my job." He says than they all look and they see the Dark Kings carriage coming into the courtyard. And they walk over there as the Dark King steps out with Dark Sister and with Roy

Then the Dark Realm group and the Light Realm group come closer then the kings face each other.

"Well you wanted a trade here is your precious Hero." The Dark King says and Skylar lets go of the hero then pushes him to go with his group. "Now give me back my Villian."

"Now hold on a minute, just like that we switch what about a truce?" The Light King asked and the Dark King chuckled.

"A truce ever since what happened with our realms the last time we did a truce it all came crashing down for my realm. And now because of your great grandfather our realm is considered the bad guys. When really you guys are." The Dark King says.

"Don't you dare blame my grandfather for your mistakes." The Light King says in anger.

"And don't be all high and mighty for your choices, you know what your king did all of you know the consequences of our realm, our kingdom was once happy and joyful just like yours today until your idiotic grandfather decided to ruin it all for us. So no I will not do any truce with you. I will not put my kingdom in this situation." He says to the light king that than he grabs Aystria and takes off her cuffs then she goes to the end of the line facing Callen Then the king turns away leaving.

"Father we can't just let them leave like this, not without peace." The prince says and the king stops than looks at his son nodding.

"What if we did a competition?" The Light King says and the Dark King stops and turns.

"A competition?" He asked curiously.

"Yes you say your Kingdom was just like ours, well then lets see whose kingdom is the best?" The Light King says and the dark one glares at him.

"Fine, when?"

"Starting today, your competitors and you will stay here, for 3 days they will train and we both will plan the challenges and for the entire week we shall see who is the best realm." The Light King says smirking.

"Fine, you majastet you got a deal." The Dark King says. "But you need to find one more Hero to help you win."

"Believe me we will." The King says and they both shake hands.
