Chapter 13: Tragedy

Callen and Aystria are laying on the roof. Turns out they were up there all night tangled up with each other.

Aystria wakes up seeing Callen still asleep and his arm wrapped around her. 

"Good morning." She says to him and he smiles waking up. 

"Morning, how do you feel?" He asked kissing her again. 

"Happy isn't that a good sign?" She asked and he smiles rubbing Aystria's back and she looks at him Than she kisses him and he pulls back. 

"It's a great sign because I feel the same way too." He says and she smiles.

Aystria and Dresden hurried to get their clothes back on heading downstairs and through the halls to get to their rooms trying not to draw any attention since they were up there all night.

"Callen?" The Light King says bumping into them. 

"Father hi." He says trying to sound as casual as possible. 

"Yes hi, why are you with the dark sister?" He asked, looking at Aystria who looks down from his gaze. 

"I saw her sneaking into the library again this morning so I went to go stop her." Callen says grabbing Aystria by the collar of her dress. 

"Really well I didn't see you both after the party either?" The King says and Aystria rolls her eyes if she could find a way so they can just go back to their rooms without being caught but how. 

"I went back to my room because I was tired from the tournament. She kicked my ass that day." He says and Aystria smirks and The King looks back at her and this time she doesn't look away this time she meets his gaze and for once he actually looks down. 

"And you dark sister? Where were you?" He asked and she continued to look at him. 

"I cannot tell you my king against the rules for my realm." She says and the king nods and steps out of the way. "Then proceed." 

Then Callen grabs Aystria again as they walk away from the king who looks at them suspiciously.

"Come inside." Aystria begged Callen who shakes his head. 

"I can't Aystria, it will be to suspicious for the both of us." Callen tells her.

"No one will know." She says and he smiles than he opens her door and she steps inside a little bit. 

"I have to go, I'm sorry Aystria." He says and she frowns. 

"Okay see ya then." Aystria says and Callen nods leaving. Than Aystria sits down in her room until Skylar comes running in. 

"Skylar, what 's wrong?" Aystria asked as she saw fear in her best friend's eyes. 

"The Light King has declared war upon outlr realm." Skylar says and Aystria has wide eyes. 

"Let hurry, where are they?" Aystria asked as they were running down the hall and into the throne room with everyone else listening. 

"You people are so selfish, you have everything you've ever wanted. And you still want more power in your realm. Ever since your great grandfather attacked you've whiped us out. We're still trying to build up our realm from your mistake." The Dark King reasons and the Light King just shakes his head. 

"My mistake, you're the reason my grandfather had to do it because you had everything. But now look at you because of your mistake your realm is now the way it is." The Light King says smirking. 

"Fine…..then let there be war!" The Dark King yells. Then both the heroes and villains have wide eyes.

"Then so be it." The Light King says and Callen goes over to him.

"Father please don't create hate. This tournament was to create peace towards both lands." Calle. says but the Light King just shakes him off ignoring him bitterly. 

"You're right Prince but your father is too full of himself just like his grandfather was. I ask you all today for whoever is serving this king. I ask you to figure out who the real villains are.....because it is certainly not us." The Dark King says and the Light King just glares at him. 

"Let's go sisters." The Dark King says and Aystria shakes her head. 

"But sir we can't just leave, this isn't a proper way to start a war." Aystria says and the king just looks at her. Making her feel so small. 

"Really what other way is there? To start a war?" He asked but Aystria just stood there frozen, not knowing how to answer that question. "That's what I thought, let's go Aystria." 

Then the Dark Sisters and the Dark King leave the throne room but as Aystria is walking she looks back towards Callen who is also staring at her and he nods at her for her to go and slowly she looks back at the Dark King and the Sister's. Walking with them sadly as this might be the only time she will ever see him again. 

Author note: heads up this chapter is a little bit sort. Honestly this was one of the chapters where it needed to be included but did not really have much to it. So hope you enjoy this chapter. Thanks for reading.
