Forbidden Love

Chapter 16: The Invasion

"I missed you." She says to him and he nods looking down. 

"Me too, but we're gonna have to depart again." He says and she nods sitting up getting out of bed than Skylar comes in and she stares at Aystria with a shocked face. 

"Oh heavens above." Skylar says running over to Aystria hugging her. "I thought you would be stuck forever." 

"I'm not I'm fine Skylar." Aystria says and then Skylar sees Callen.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Skylar asked getting a dagger out. 

"It's okay Skylar, he woke me up and everything's okay." Aystria tries to convince her Sister. 

Then a loud crash is outside and they all have wide eyes exchanging glances as they look outside to the main entrance. 

"C'mon men put your backs into it!" James yells as they try to get the doors opened to the castle.

"Your invading our castle?" Aystria asked Callen who stands there holding his hands up. 

"No I'm not but they are, I tried to tell you, Aystria please believe me I did not want anything to do with this." He says and she just stares at him not knowing what to say to her love. 

"I don't trust you, and quite franckly it looks like she doesn't either by the looks of it." Skylar says and another loud boom happens. 

"How do I know you're not lying? How do i know you didn't set me up and lead them here to distract us?" Aystria asked him.

"I didn't, Aystria please believe me you have to believe me. I just wanted to see you. I didn't lead them here." He says than Skylar pounces at Callen but he moves just in time to get his sword out and block her attack.

"Skylar stop!" Aystria yells than Skylar disarms Callen and Syklar holds her dagger by his throat against the wall. "Skylar stop! Please!" 

But her sister doesn't stop so she decides to tell her Sister the truth. 

"……I love him!" Aystria yells and Skylar freezes and drops her dagger and looks at her bewildered confused almost.

"You've fallen for a hero?" Skylar asked and Aystria nods. 

"Yes I have." She says and Syklar rubs her temples. 

"You've got to be kidding me, Aystria you know the rules both of you know the rules why break them?" Skylar asked.

"Because you can't stop love no matter who your with it's always there to be with you." Aystria says and Skylar backs away.

"You can stop love no matter who it is. But you cannot stop war when it has just begun. It's not fair." Skylar says. 

"Nothings fair in love and war." Aystria says and Skylar. 

"You could be executed for this, both of you know the consequences." She says and Aystria looks down.

"I know we both know!" Aystria yells and another bang happens. 

"My only sister, my best friend, has disobeyed the King's laws. I don't know how to react Aystria." Skylar says and Aystria looks down. 

"I'm sorry, I know I disobeyed the laws but please don't say anything I beg you sister." Aystria says and Skylar's expression changes to a calm face. 

"You disobeyed our king and kept this a secret." Skylar says and Aystria just looks at her. 

"Please Skylar, you're my sister and my best friend. I beg you plead you not to say a word." Aystria says as tears stream down her face. 

"You're not my sister, not anymore." Skylar says and Aystria expression changes to betrayal than they just stare at each other. Until another bang happens. And the light realm has come into the castle.
