Forbidden Love

Chapter 9: A Royal Dinner

Aystria drags Callen down a hall and into a closet rushing to shut the door.

"A closet?" He asked her and she makes light from her hand.

"Yeah you got a better place?" She asked and he rolls his eyes.

"Yeah my room."

"To unsecretive this is private between you and me." She tells him and he looks at her tilting his head. "You kissed me, like kissed me kissed me."

"Yeah I did huh?" He asked rubbing the back of his head and Aystria nods. "How was it?"

"What?"

"How was it? Enjoyable?" He asked smirking with a devilious grin. And Aystria just stare at him not knowing what to say.

I....um I..." She tries to say but can't get any words out.

"See you can't deny it was great." He says and she glares at him than looks down nit wanting to admitt it so she turns away from him.

"Okay it was amazing I can't deny it." She admitts to him and he just smirks.

"I knew it."

"But we can't tell anyone or keep doing it." She tells him and his smile drops.

"What why?" He asked and she just stares at him not believing what he said.

"Why? Because your the Hero and I'm the villian. Remember were not suppose to love." She says and he signs.

"Not suppose to love? You actually want to follow that stuff? These stupid rules your King has?" He says and she clenches her fist.

"These rules have consequences and this consequence can get us killed and I don't think you want that." She says and he shakes his head.

"If it meant being with you than I would risk it." He says and she stares at him not knowing what to say.

"Do you love me?" She asked him suddenly and he looks at her the same way she did. "Do you?"

He just sits there frozen not knowing if he should admitt it or not. Does she love him back? He continues to stand not knowing at all what to say or do.

She nods than goes out of the closet. Leaving him there.

"He what?!" Skylar yelled at Aystria back in her room. She told Skylar about Callen the next day.

"He kissed me, just kissed me it was so passionate and beautiful. I didn't want it to end. But it did." She tells her and Skylar nods sitting down.

"Do you love him?" She asked Aystria who looks at her than looks down signing. Should she lie or tell the truth to Skylar? She loves him but she doesn't know if Callen loves her back. Maybe he was just getting to her to jist use her.

"I don't know Skylar. He..... it was just random and out of the blue." She tells her and Skylar rubs her temples.

"Aystria it is forbidden for us to love the Hero. No matter how dashing or handsome they are you cannot fall for them. They will use you and try to destroy you and possible us." She explains to Aystria who nods in agreement.

Maybe she's right, maybe he is using her. But there's just something about Callen that makes him different from the other Heroes. Something special.

"Let's get ready for this dinner shall we?" Aystria says and Skylar looks at her oddly but than shruggs and goes with her to get ready.

Skylar is helping Aystria with her hair and make up for the Dinner than Aystria also helps Skylar.

"How was it really?" She asked Aystria about Callen. "Your first kiss?"
