Part 22 - First Time? Me Too.

"You better get a kiss out of this." [S/N] says, "Or I'm going to be pissed!"
You roll your eyes at your sister as you text Ledger.
You're planning on where to meet.

Jelly:
Want to meet at the park? I can literally just walk there.

[Y/N]:
Sounds great!

"Hey, what's the deal with you shipping these two like they're characters? Personally, I don't trust the guy. He gives me murderer vibes." [B/N] admits.
You gasp.
"[B/N]! How could you say that? He has tried to be nothing but kind to you!"
"Yeah, I've heard that before. You're just saying that 'cause you like him." He rolls his eyes.
You glare at him and shake your head.
He sighs.
"Listen, I don't care what you do with this guy. Hey, make out with him for all I care! Just, please, be careful."
You sigh, and smile at him.
You kneel down to his level, and put both hands on his shoulders.
"I'll be careful. But hey, Ledger is a nice guy, alright? I seriously don't understand why you dislike him so much." You chuckle, standing back up.
"I'll be back soon! Don't burn the house down, alright?" You wave at your siblings as you leave.
You hop into your car, and drive towards the park.
A strange place to meet at night, but a nice place all together.
There's a beautiful spot with flowers on the ground and benches and trees, and a pond in the middle.
It was your favorite spot to sit and relax before you started working at the Pizzaplex.
It's strange... How your job is almost like a prison. Only giving you the mornings to be a real person and enjoy yourself.
You can't remember the last time you were out like this.
As you park your car, you step out and take in the fresh night air.
It's dark, but not pitch black.
The moon's beams shine down on the Earth, illuminating the clear sky, allowing you to see just fine.
However, you don't see Ledger anywhere near.

[Y/N]:
Hey, I'm here. Where are you?

Jelly:
Find me ;)

You raise a brow, and smile.

[Y/N]:
Is that a challenge?

Jelly:
Maybe

You laugh to yourself, and start searching for the pink-haired male.
You'll admit, walking through the park alone at night was a little scary.. and not to mention risky.
What if there was some creep out there?
It makes you shiver.
You decide to go to your favorite place for comfort, and hey, maybe Ledger is there.
You walk to the spot, and as if the universe heard your thoughts, there was Ledger, sitting on the ground in front of the lake.
They must have gotten rid of the benches.. and planted more flowers.
You decide to sneak up behind him.
Once you get close enough, you grab his shoulders aggressively and shout, "Boo!"
He yelps, and turns around quickly, pure fear in his eyes.
That was until he saw it was you.
You bend over laughing.
"You should've seen your face!" You shout, laughing hysterically.
He laughs as well, his cheeks tinting slightly pink.
You finally calm down, and sit next to him.
The two of you sit in a comfortable silence for a bit.
"This used to be my favorite place to go before I started working at the Pizzaplex." You say.
He looks at you.
"Really?"
"Yep." You smile, glancing at him. "They used to have benches here, and way less flowers."
"Wonder why they took the benches out.." Ledger thinks out loud.
You shrug, "Not sure. It kinda sucks though."
You make eye contact for longer than normal again. It's just something you two do, for some reason.
This also gives you time to examine Ledger.
He's wearing a white t-shirt under a black cardigan, with blue jeans and sneakers.
You shake your head, and look at the pond, but you feel like you're being watched.
You decide to brush it off as paranoia, though.
Then, an idea hits you.
"Hey, Ledger!" You smile.
He jumps slightly at your sudden outburst, but looks at you.
"Ever made a flower crown before?"
"A flower crown..? Yes, with Delta. And.. someone else." He smiles, which looks kind of sad, "But it was a long time ago."
"Well.." You pick some flowers, and start twisting them together, "Let's refresh your memory!"
He looks shocked, but picks up some flowers nonetheless, and starts twisting them together.
You finish with yours, and it looks beautiful.
You hold it up in front of the moon.
"It's gorgeous.." Ledger says.
You look at him, and smile.
"Thanks!" You giggle.
He continues to make his.
But he's interrupted as you place the crown gently on his head.
He stops abruptly, seemingly staring into space.
You start laughing, and he looks at you.
As you're laughing, he places the one he made atop your head.
You stop laughing, but then start again, "Damn it, Ledger!" You say in between laughs.
He starts laughing too.
You wipe the tears out of your eyes, and look at him.
And he looks at you.
You stare at each other.
You take in every detail of his face.
How his eyes shine in the moonlight, his hair blowing slightly in the night's breeze.
It's like something straight out of a movie.
He leans closer, and you follow.
It's like you're in a daze. Your vision gets cloudy, and your face feels hot.
Then, you close your eyes...
And you feel warmth. Warmth and fuzziness.
It's like nothing you ever felt before.
Ledger's lips on yours.
They're warm, and soft.
The cold wind feels good on your hot skin.
You subconsciously move your hand up, and your fingers brush his cheek.
He pulls away abruptly, and covers his mouth with both of his hands.
His face looks like a tomato, and his eyes are as wide as two plates.
"I.." He mutters.
You blink, trying to process what the hell just happened.
He looks everywhere but you, frantically. "Uh.. I have to go!"
He scrambles to his feet, and runs away.
You sit still for a moment.
Did.. Did he just kiss you?
