Part 24 - You Really Did!

Ledger POV

On my walk home, I could barely focus.
I wasn't supposed to fall for them..
Ugh! I'm so stupid! This just makes things so much harder!
But..
I reach up and touch my lips.
I would like to do that again...

Opening the door, I'm greeted by the nanny I hired.
"Oh! Mr. Cassidy! You're home early!"
"Y-Yeah.. But, again, just call me Ledger, Mrs. Selene... Please?"
"Only when you stop calling me Mrs. Selene." She smiles.
"Jelly?! Jelly!" My sister, Delta runs into the room, and hugs me.
I laugh, and pick her up.
"My favorite sister!"
Colson also appears, rolling his wheelchair.
"Hey, Jelly! Did that date not go as planned? Why are you home so early?" He asks.
I sigh.
"Uhm.. They just had to go home early, haha!" I laugh nervously, and sit Delta down.
Colson raises an eyebrow.
"You sure?"
I nod.
"I'm going to get to bed now, alright? I'm sleepy.."
"Aww.. What! You rarely ever get to spend time with us anymore!" Delta whines.
I smile sadly, and bend down to her height, putting both of my hands on her shoulders.
"I know, I'm sorry. I promise next time I'm off I'll spend all day with you guys!" I hug her quickly, and she giggles.
"Did you at least get a kiss?" Colson asks.
My face is set on fire, and I quickly hurry to my room.
"Wait, you really did!?" I hear Colson laughing as I close my door.
