Hi I know nothing about building lmao. So pls don't get on my case 😫 the house will take 3 months to rebuild in this story

——————————————————————

1 month later

Things were going great with casita. We finally had the foundations laid down and set up.

With Abuelo, he was gone. The day we began cleaning up casita, I went back to check on him. But Abuelo was simply gone. Not a trace left

That's when me and David settled down in Encanto for good. Our old home remained in ruins and would probably stay that way for years to come

Me and Camilo grew a lot closer. We'd always go everyday to the pond after a long day of building the house back up. We spent a lot of time together

Occasionally Dolores, Mirabel and Luisa would join us. We even got to take Isabela there for the first time

David and Antonio immediately became good friends, they played a lot with the kids in the village.

Abuela was easier on everyone too, she learned from her mistakes.

Agustin was healed by now. Felix and Agustin always hung out, sometimes with Bruno.

The triplets were all good again. Julieta began to perfect her medical skills more since she couldn't heal with powers. Her cooking was still a 10/10. Pepa was doing a lot better when her emotions didn't cause the weather to change

The town continued to help build casita up.

...

"Perfect" I said, placing the last block on the foundation. I dusted my hands off and turned to see Camilo watching me from afar

"I suppose we're going to the pond again?" I said, walking over to Camilo.

"You already know" Camilo said, smiling to me.  Normally we would just walk there. But Camilo seemed, anxious? He seemed fidgety and ready to go

"You ok Cami? You look worried" I asked, checking up on him.

Camilo quickly changed his look and smiled.

"I'll race you" Camilo said taking off before I could respond

"Agh he knows I can't outrun him" I said, watching him sprint over the hills while his yellow ruana trailed behind him

I began to walk before Julieta stopped me. "Y/n take this, Camilo must've forgot" she said, handing me a large basket covered with a towel

"What's this tía?" I said. By now, the adults told me to refer to them as tía and tío.

I was about to open it before she stopped me. "Nothing much, just some food Camilo asked me to make." she said, smiling radiantly

"O-ok, thanks tia. We'll be back before sunset" I said walking away. She waved back

Camilo was already waiting at the entrance of the forrest. I watched his eyes widen and his mouth open realizing he forgot the food.

He ran over and grabbed it without asking me. "I'm so sorry y/n, I forgot about this. I shouldn't have let you carry it all the way over here" he said, genuinely feeling bad I had to bring it

"It's fine Milo, it's not that heavy" I said. "But you owe me" I said smirking

Camilo looked nervous. "Oh no, what is it" he asked

I thought for a bit, trying to figure out something good.

"You get to feed me" I said. Camilo looked very confused
