chapter sixteen- confession

Ashes/pov

After saying that there was silence my parents were both staring at me with pure anger and with a threatening look my dad yelled

'HOW DARE YOU SPEAK TO US LIKE THAT YOU SELFISH BITCH'

I rolled my eyes frustratedly suddenly my mom completely lost it a dramatic fight broke out between us there was shouting slapping kicking and lots more my dad quickly stepped in saying

'stop it please break it up'

My mom threw me forcefully against the wall and snapped

'if you ruin another family party one more time you're dead'

She pushed me onto the floor as I rushed away to grab my phone earphones and sneakers I then shrieked while almost on the verge to tears

'I AM NOT COMING BACK TO THIS HOUSE I HOPE YOU DON'T COME OUT LOOKING FOR ME BECAUSE I'M FUCKING DONE WITH YOUR SHIT MOM AND DAD GOODBYE I HOPE I DON'T SEE YOU AGAIN'

Peter/pov

I was sitting on the edge of a building near ashes house the bright lights were on in her house I sighed miserably I wish I could see her again I hadn't seen ash for a couple weeks I missed her I loved spending time with her that day when I took her to see that view with that beautiful sunset I could daydream about her all day but I stopped daydreaming when I heard loads of shouting coming from her house

I was suspecting something was happening but I decided to wait a few minutes later I heard the front door open ash shouted loudly

'I AM NOT COMING BACK TO THIS HOUSE I HOPE YOU DON'T COME OUT LOOKING FOR ME BECAUSE I'M FUCKING DONE WITH YOUR SHIT MOM AND DAD GOODBYE I HOPE I DON'T SEE YOU AGAIN'

She then ran off I immediately started to follow her I didn't want to ask her what was going on straight away but about fithteen or twenty minutes later she stopped running and stopped by a bridge she put her head down on the railing after a few seconds I decided to step in I leapt down and slowly walked up to her without saying anything once I was close to her I tapped her lightly on the shoulder

Ashes/pov

I felt someone tap my shoulder I didn't want to talk to anyone for the rest of the evening so I just mumbled quietly

'go away'

I looked up to see who it was I gasped silently as I began to wipe my tears away with my elbow I saw spiderman standing next to me by the bridge I weakly whispered

'oh my god I'm so sorry spiderman what are you doing here'

My eyes were red and sparkling while my cheeks were drenched in tears spiderman asked

'well I was checking if your alright because you've been crying I can clearly see it'

I answered with

'well yesterday and today has been the shittiest day's of my life I lost my friend Peter and accidentally spilt red wine on my aunt's dress I just can't take it anymore'

I put my head back down on the railing and began to cry again all I wanted was to be with spiderman he was the only guy I sort of trusted suddenly spiderman lightly dragged my body closer to his and hugged me tightly while saying

'hey I want to take you somewhere it might cheer you up'

I immediately accepted the offer as I put my hands on his muscler shoulders I buried my head into one of his shoulders as he started swinging through the cool air once we arrived I quickly opened my eyes I saw some beautiful candles blazing away Spiderman asked

'do you like it I wanted to show you this a few weeks back but'

I exclamed before he even said another word

'I love it it's beautiful'

I stood there for a moment the moon was shining brightly down on us the Stars were blinking in the sky and the candles lit up the place making it look mesmerising seconds later spiderman came up to me and asked

'Can I tell you something'

I stared in his eyes for a moment whispered innocently

'what is it'

Spiderman stared romantically into my teary eyes and explained

'I like you I've liked you ever since that day I took you to see that sunset you're the most beautiful girl I've seen ever since I first saw them eyes I wanted to protect you'
