chapter twenty seven- kidnapped

Ashes/pov

After the dramatic dinner with my family I plodded slowly back upstairs to my room once I was in my room I yawned tiredly as I whispered to myself while slowly flopping into the comfy sheets of my bed

'what a day'

But suddenly at that moment I felt like someone was watching me through my window but my curtains were closed and I hadn't let anyone in my room I didn't think anything of it after a few minutes so I decided to fall asleep

I abruptly woke up in the middle of the night my eyes were feeling heavy and I had the feeling I was being watched again I managed to get my body out of bed to turn the light on and check if anyone was watching me but to my horror I slowly opened the window and something was sprayed into my face as I blacked out a few minutes later I woke up with a disgusting bag over my head I immediately threw it off I saw I was on top of the tallest building in new york and the goblin was right in front of my eyes I shouted

'LET ME GO YOU UGLY BITCH'

The beast cackled in my face as he tied a rope around both my arms

'sorry sweetie but I had to take you away for a reason'

What was he going on about I yelled

'WHAT IS THE REASON'

He added while laughing psychotically

'you'

the goblin then shoved a photo in my face my jaw was on the ground how did he know it was me who kissed Spiderman I asked angrily

'how did you know'

He chuckled

'I know everything'

after that he disappeared I was now stranded on the tallest building in new york cold and alone tears began forming in my eyes I put my head in my lap for a second before screaming

'SPIDERMAN'

I screamed again

'SPIDERMAN'

I began sobbing at that point I knew no one was going to hear me because I was on the tallest building

Peter's/pov

I woke up feeling incredibly tired I grabbed my phone from my bedside table it was six in the morning I slowly got out of bed and stumbled my tired downstairs to the kitchen aunt may wasn't up yet so I just sat down on the couch and turned on the tv to watch the news the news reporter explained

'good morning this is the news at six here's today's headline'

they then added seriously

'the green goblin has been seen in action again and there's been footage of him taking a civilian to the tallest building of new york'

as they carried on talking about the situation I raced upstairs to grab my bag I didn't bother telling aunt may where I was going this was an emergency I quickly put on my sneakers and rushed out the door closing the door slowly behind me I kept on racing down the street until I found a abandoned alleyway I got changed and swung off to find whoever the goblin had kidnapped

Ashes/pov

I had been trapped for an hour or two I was starting to lose all hope no one would ever hear me from up here the ground was millions of feet down below but I couldn't give up yet so I screamed once again

'SPIDERMAN'

I then screamed again

'SPIDERMAN'

Suddenly the goblin arrived on his glider and snarled wickedly

'he can't hear you he's never going to save you all your shouts for help are useless so give up already'

I put my head in my lap as I began to cry silently the goblin then left me as I had to suffer suddenly I heard spiderman's voice

'oh my god ash are you ok'

he untied me immediately as I hug,ged him tightly I managed to say to him

'thank you but we've got to get out of here right now or he's going to'

the green goblin then returned seeing me with spiderman he stared at both angrily as he began to fight peter and all I could do was stand there suddenly the green goblin went after me he pushed me until I was on the edge of the building I screamed

'SPIDERMAN HELP ME I'M GOING TO FALL OFF HERE ANY SECOND'

I was now holding onto the edge hoping I wouldn't fall and die tears began falling down my cheeks my grip was getting weaker every time I sobbed quietly to spiderman while he was still fighting the goblin

'I love you so much'

Suddenly I let go I screamed so loud that my lungs could've burst Tears were still streaming down my cheeks as the cold breeze was hitting me while I was falling

Peter's/pov

as I heard ash scream loudly I quickly jumped off the building to save her I tried getting closer to her which I managed to do I was praying I'd be able to save her before it was too late luckily before she fell to the ground I tightly grabbed her ash glanced up at me she had tears in her eyes as we both reached ground I quickly let go of her before loads of news reporter's and civilians gathered round me

as Peter let go of me loads of civilians and news reporters gathered around him to ask him countless questions I wanted to thank him so I pushed into the millions of people I managed to get to where he was and just as he was about to be asked the first question I hugged him tightly it lasted for a few seconds before I softly let go the only two words I could say to him were

'thank you'
