Since she's an ice mage, fire should counter her ice. However, those roses are strange. I don't think I've seen a rose that color before.

Igniting my flame in goa, I charge in first. I need to figure out her moves.

Sophie: You're pretty brave, prey.

Chanting words I couldn't understand, a mist of icy fog surrounded her and myself.

Looking down at my sword, the flames dissipated, as blue roses blossomed around my sword. It then started to shatter apart.

Me: Jiwald, Goa.

Reinforcing my blade and igniting it once more, I escaped the range of her mist.

So I can't stay inside that mist for long.

Sophie: What's wrong? Come closer. I don't bite.

Holding out her hand, I read her lips but I still couldn't understand what she was saying. Interesting.

A path of blue roses surrounded the ground leading up to me, as I dragged my sword across the ground, incinerating them to bits.

In the distance, I could still hear the clashes between Elsa, Ram, and Frederica.

I'll just have to confide in their abilities until I can discern any type of weakness for this ice mage.

Sophie: Smart. But you're entrapped.

Looking in all directions, bushes of blue roses emerged from the ground as they formed into large, and tall walls of ice, capturing me in a confinement.

Sophie: No one has ever escaped my Suffocating prison. So good luck, Ayanokouji.

From above my head, a pattern of roses came about that instantly transformed into a giant pillar of ice.

Sophie: If you've ever used a mortar and pestle, then you can understand your fate right now.

Bringing it down, I knew that my fate would be a paste of body parts sprinkled on dry ice if I didn't escape.

Sheathing my blade, I used all of my physical strength to smash my hands into the ground.

Me: Ul Doma.

Sophie: Oh.

*CRASH*

The giant pillar of ice crashed right into the middle of the confinement she had set up, and broke right through the ground, with ice shattered and scattering all over the place, like debris from a volcano.

Sophie: I didn't feel any bone to my attack so it means you survived unscathed, hehe. Not bad.

My dome had held up. Before the pillar struck, I used the rock from the ground and hardened it on impact so I wasn't affected. However, from the cracks and the feeble state of my rock dome, it seems any more force would have crushed me.

Shattering my dome apart, I escaped unscathed, and looked as she was now in the sky yet again.

Sophie: He was right. Your magical versatility is undeniable. But you're still just a child. You've yet to reach the height of your powers. And sadly, you never will have the chance for even that.

Who is he? That part of information was vital. So a man contracted my assassination, including the assassination of multiple people in the mansion. The only person who has significant information regarding my mana caabilities, is Roswaal-sama. This has only increased my suspicion for that man. However, I need to gather more information.
