Kiyotaka: There's nothing here. Not even blood.
Arriving at the crater, Kiyotaka started to investigate his surroundings for any clues regarding Sirius.
Echidna: (But she's gotta be here. I mean, the trajectory of the blast sent her perfectly through into this warehouse.)
Kiyotaka: Well, she's not here. She got away.
He widened his eyes and enhanced his vision with Jiwald, looking for any other consistencies aside from the impact crater.
Kiyotaka: If she did travel all the way here, she must have teleported away rather than traveling on foot.
Echidna: (And what makes you say that?)
Kiyotaka: There's not even a trail. Everything else aside from the impact is untouched. The only conclusion to draw is that she was teleported away.
Echidna: (There goes our information piggy. Oh, but you did snag that amazing communication mirror! That's gotta count for something, right?)
Kiyotaka reached into his pocket and fished out the broken shards of a mirror.
Kiyotaka: It's a dud. When Regulus clipped me from my ribcage to my shoulder, he also broke the mirror.
Echidna pouted.
Echidna: (Now what are we gonna do?)
Kiyotaka: I guess until they make another appearance, regrouping with Emilia, Subaru and Beatrice and evacuating them out of the city should be our course of action. I'll find Garfiel and Otto too.
He held his hand out as mana started to swirl.
Kiyotaka: Then we'll go with our original plan and nuke Pristella. As for Regulus, everyone will be long gone before he can return from where I sent him.
Echidna: (Your beloved Emilia isn't going to love this.)
Kiyotaka: She doesn't have to like it. Her and Subaru will just have to deal with it and ascend the throne.
*SOAR*
In less than 20 seconds, Kiyotaka flew from the warehouse back towards Subaru, Beatrice, and Emilia.
Emilia: Kiyo! Did you find her?
Kiyotaka: She's gone.
Subaru: Gone as in incinerated or gone as in...
Kiyotaka: She escaped.
Subaru: But how? Emilia-tan blew her away with one of her strongest spells. She must have got scorched and frozen.
Kiyotaka: It's probably the work of another authority.
He sighed.
Kiyotaka: In any case, you're going to listen to me now. Each and every available Archbishop is currently here in Pristella, barring Regulus for the time being. I tried to stop you all from coming but by the time I got to Roswaal's Estate, it was too late.
Emilia: You saw Ram and the others?
He nodded his head.
Kiyotaka: Now that you know what we're up against, it's in everyone's best interest to flee right now.
Emilia: What? No, we can't. We'd be dooming the lives of all the men, women and children in this city.
Subaru: Yeah, and even if we wanted to, we still haven't gotten Puck's replacement magic crystal and Garfiel and Otto are still missing.
