The Last Order

There were no words for Y/n to describe how he is feeling this morning. It was finally today, the day Y/n has been waiting for. The day either side will fall before their opponent. The entire day yesterday, the people of the empire were rebelling and protesting against the empire. They want the emperor dead for good.

Night Raid and the other revolutionary army broke down the empire's gates, and they have announced the war.

"Comrades! Today, we revolt and start a new kingdom," Said Najenda to the revolutionary army, while sitting on her horse, "we will overthrow the corrupt government with our own hands, and create a kingdom where citizens can live peacefully!" she said loudly, lifting the revolution army's red flag up high as the army ran through the empire's gates with spades, swords, and arrows.

Y/n was calmly waiting next to the emperor in his throne room, he knew Night Raid would come for the prime minister, and he wanted to be present. At last, Tatsumi arrived, breaking down the doors of the throne room.

"A rebel!" Honest cried. The emperor was scared to death, as if he sensed his own death, "what were the palace guards doing?!" Honest exclaimed before right from above, another member of Night Raid broke in.

"There don't seem to be any other bodyguards," Akame said, glaring at Honest, before her eyes shifted to Y/n who was surprised to see her this early.

"The target is Minister Honest," Akame assured, her eyes shifted from Y/n to Honest, before she jumped high and tried to slash down an attack on him. Unfortunately, Honest was protected by an energy barrier that blocked her attack. Realising this, Honest burst out laughing, "the supreme teigu is already in motion! Take tha–" he realised his foolish behaviour within the presence of everyone, especially the emperor and simply cleared his throat, "uh-ahem."

"What you've begun has thrown the kingdom into chaos!" The emperor yelled, now angry.

"No, listen to us!" Tatsumi was quick in defence, "For a long time the Capital has been under tranny. And this whole time, the weak have suffered. No matter how much they hoped or prayed, no one ever helped."

Y/n rolled his eyes and let out a sigh, he wished he could go for Akame, but he is within the presence of the emperor. As much as he doesn't care about who is right or wrong, he respects the emperor and his decisions.

"The kingdom needs a change, don't you think?!" Tatsumi exclaimed.

"Your excellency!" Honest turned to the emperor, "you mustn't be deceived by these words."

Tatsumi pointed his blade at Honest, "Minister Honest, you're the one who's been manipulating him!"

"Oh? I don't appreciate these false accusations in front of the emperor," Honest glared at Tatsumi.

"Y/n-san! You know this as well!" Tatsumi exclaimed, making both Honest and the emperor look at him.

"y/n?" The emperor called him, "what do you say we do?" he asked, catching y/n off guard. Y/n wondered why he asked him that question. Maybe he can give his opinion so he drew out his sword and pointed it at Honest.

"In my opinion, my lord," Y/n grinned at Honest, "I say give Night Raid what they want and stop this unnecessary bloodshed of innocents."

"You brat, shut your mouth!" Honest shouted at Y/n, "Your excellency! Y/n is clearly a traitor working under Night Raid's orders just so they can take over your empire!"

Y/n's eyes widened and when he turned to face the emperor, who was frowning at him, "What?! Is that true, Y/n?"

"What bullshit is this?" Y/n's eyes narrowed at Honest, "You dare lie in front of the emperor, you swine?!"
