As I set down the phone from Y/N, I couldn't help but feel disappointed. Every time I talked to her, I got this overwhelming feeling that my relationship with my best friend was dissipating and I hated it. I knew I wasn't the greatest friend, but she was still important to me. Way more important than she knew. She had always been there for me and I really valued that. Way more than I ever showed. I knew the distance was at least partially my fault. There were so many times that I had abandoned her, forcing her to turn to Jimin so it only made sense that they would have grown closer. I just hadn't expected them to get this close.

Letting out a sigh, I turned to face Melina who was asleep in the bed next to me. She had come over last night after work and we had spent time together. She found out she would be leaving for Paris in just six weeks and I wanted to spend any moment I could with her, knowing soon it would be too late. After the conversation with Namjoon, it had made me a little worried about how things would work with Melina when she was in Paris. Would our relationship make it? The idea of not having her in my life scared me more than I thought it would.

"Jin? What are you doing up so early?" Melina's voice broke through my thoughts and I looked over at her.

"Just couldn't sleep." Rolling over to face her, I pulled her close, kissing her cheek. "But good morning."

Melina laughed. "Ugh. Too early, but good morning to you too." She snuggled in close to me, resting her head on my chest, her hair tickling my bare skin. "Did I not wear you out enough last night?"

Tickling her side, I grinned at her words. "Say what now? I'm not the one who passed out afterwards. How do you think you got a shirt on?"

Looking down, Melina's cheeks flushed. "Shit. I didn't even realize I was wearing one. Thank you."

"I know sometimes you get chilly when you sleep so I wanted to make sure you were warm enough, but I would have kept you warm anyways." Moving my hand to her hip, I slid it up underneath the t-shirt until I was touching her bare skin. "Or I can warm you up now?"
