Y/n pov

The car ride was maybe around an hour from where we were. I was the dj of the car ride so I started playing my playlist. It was a mix of songs but most of them were from y/f/a. One favorite artist

Surprisingly everyone loved my choices of songs. I thought they wouldn't like my taste in music. Toby was the one who was singing with me with most of the songs. Not gonna lie, his voice sounded so cute when he was singing. After my playlist had finished, I decided to give Tommy a turn because tubbo said he has most of those songs on his playlist.

Tommy connected his phone to the aux and began to play some songs. Tommy's taste in music was completely different than mine and tubbos but I knew some of his songs. Both Tommy and ranboo were surprised I knew them. Toby just kept... staring. Not that I was uncomfortable, I just started to feel a bit insecure thinking I looked wrong.

I tried my best to ignore his eyes and just focus on the music but as the seconds went by it became harder and harder to ignore.

Tubbo pov

I couldn't stop staring at her. I'm not sure why. It was her and Tommy just singing to a song and her voice was so amazing so I turned to look at her. I couldn't stop looking, I mean she looked so happy. Like there wasn't a care in the world. Eventually she noticed me staring and she didn't want to look at me.

I tried to bring myself to stop looking afraid I was making her uncomfortable but I couldn't. After moments of fighting the urge to keep looking, I finally looked away.

Y/n pov

When tubbo looked away, I felt this rush of relief. I let out a breathe I didn't know I was holding in. I relaxed soon after because I was tense. My mind started to clear from the thoughts of me looking bad.

After some singing, jokes, and laughter, we finally made it to the restaurant. I was really excited to say the least. I love to come to y/f/r, especially because we don't live near one so it's rare to come.

My eyes were filled with joy just by the sight of it and I'm pretty sure everyone noticed. For no reason at all, I love this place. There isn't much special about it but it's amazing. The food is average and so is the building itself but it never fails to amaze me.

When we walked in, the owner immediately recognized me and welcomed us in. He'd always give us the best table there. A waiter came by and took our orders. This was my favorite waiter here. We met the first time ranboo and I came here. I remember he was so nice and then ranboo had asked who he was because he recognized his voice. He said his name was nick but he much preferred to be called sapnap.
Yall I forgot if I mentioned sapnap already lol if I did plz tell me so I can fix this bc I don't feel like reading all my chapters to find out.

"Hi snapgap, haven't seen you in so long.", "Yeah its been so long since I've seen you. Something changed. Think you got shorter." He said with a giggle at the end. "HEY I DIDNT SHRINK AND IN FACT I GOT TALLER." I said with a fake angry voice. "Well I see you've met my friends already. They appear to be yours as well. So how have all of you guys been doing?" Nick had answered. Guess I didn't need to introduce them, that's a relief.

They were all just talking. I felt very awkward because I couldn't share the same inside jokes or memories with them. I guess ranboo felt the same because he'd respond here and there but for the most part was quite like me.

"Okay that's enough chitchat, what would you guys like to eat?", "Well what's good here? Y/n dragged us over here and we don't even know how the food is." Tommy answered sapnap. "Well pretty much the food is decent. Not worth coming to America for but you know, take what you can get. Anyways I recommend this, it's my personal favorite but it depends what you feel like eating." Sapnap answered while pointing to something on the menu.

"Alright then I'll trust you on it and I'll try it." The blonde answered. "CAN YOU RECOMMEND SOMETHING FOR ME TOO?" Tubbo yelled holding his menu towards sapnap. "Okay I feel like you'd definitely like this one" the waiter answered pointing at another item on the menu. "ILL TAKE IT" he yelled again slamming both hands on the table.

We all began to laugh at what tubbo had done. Soon sapnap left to give our orders to the chef. We sat there talking about random things until our food got there. Once it was there, we were stuffing our faces in it. Tubbo and Tommy told sapnap about how good his recommendations were and left him a good tip.

We returned to the car, this time I was in the passenger seat and Tommy and tubbo in the back. They both had fallen asleep, most likely fatigued from their long flight. I turned around and took a picture of them then lowered the volume to the radio as to not wake them.

It was a bit of a drive back to our house so ranboo stopped at a gas station to get snacks. He got a monster and some doritos while I got coffee and some doughnuts. We continued our drive and finally made it home.
